He really didn't prove himself in college. He wasn't allowed to call any plays and just designed the passing game offense for the LSU OC. He has creative ideas no doubt but his play selection pretty much stunk.

Big difference in college and NFL. Even bigger difference in small school football and NFL football. You can't make it on broken parts in the NFL. You have to have the brightest and most skilled FO and coaching to really be successful. Hopefully this sting will allow Tepper to learn and move on. Man I'm old. I was a huddle vet in 2009. Either way us "vets" know this ship isn't going anywhere. We have seen the good, the bad, and the ugly. We also had scepticism about the Rhule hire because of the lack of experience. So now it's just a welp we knew it moment.

It's been noted that Hurney hired him before Tepper even knew what was going on. A real GM would have seen through Rhules BS. Hurney not so much.

This is what you get when you hire a small college HC that has done very little.

I feel Fitters is up to the job. Hurney holdover Rhule is just another disaster in a line of disasters. This is why you don't give college coaches this much control.

I might believe it if it were JR running the ship. He always refused to fire a HC preferring to just let his contract expire. Tepper in the other hand let's Rhule stay without a strong finish says he's really not committed to winning long term. With a new stadium in the works I can't see him staying with a dud HC.

Yeah that would probably do it. I think he either finishes strong or Tepper cans him.

If we are smart Gilmore won't be a rental. He will replace Djax.

Technically we are in the playoff hunt but a lot of things would have to go right for us to win out.
