It's kinda pointless to fire Rhule in season because there's no scandal and the people behind him suck just as bad. From the film coming out I can only see a positive return on wilks being DC. Because McAdoo sucks and no ones behind him.

Firing Joe Brady might have saved Rhules job for a year but McAdoo is going to get him fired this year. Talk about a terrible scheme.

I would say that what Rhule does really doesn't effect offensive or Defense. He really doesn't have experience in either. It's probably why we have a big 10 DC.

It's been used and it may or may not have been true. Fact is Mayfield was dumped by the Browns and that's never a good thing.

College is more about talking to parents and selling them. The NFL is more about understanding what the offensive and defensive norm is and coming up with solutions to that problem. Every team has great players that do this as a job. Rhule is just out of his depth and it's why we don't win.

The fact that Mayfield didn't get a ton of time to study the playbook may very well be the cause of this. As the season goes on it should change. If it doesn't ooof.

The fact that execution is on the coaches. If they can't find the right people. It's on the coaches. If things break down it's on the coaches. Yes players have to make it work but if you can't get them to do that and hold players accountable you're not a good coach. Both Rivera and Fox always had a defense that would battle and was prepared. It's because of their background and understanding what needed to happen to win on defense. The problem was they both needed a OC that was just as good and the understanding of how to control the game as a HC. The sheer fact that Matt Rhule has traded for all these second tier QBs shows how he doesn't understand the NFL. You have to have a starting QB to win games and make the playoffs. It's not a maybe it's a yes we need that. But at the same time you have to have the coaching ability to develop that player too.

He's the second highest paid player on this team and return on investment isn't coming up in the green. With a potential out coming in 23 we could trade or cut him and save a good bit in a rebuild year. Discuss.
