Hurney famously wanted Steve Spurrier over John Fox. Rhule reminded me a lot of a young Steve without the winning. I also think Tepper just wanted someone to handle everything and that's not how the NFL works. As an owner you have a lot of people you have to manage or allow the GM to manage.

Yeah I'm going to agree and disagree. He seemed very frustrated. This is definitely not what he wanted to happen but his anger is what actually gives me hope. JR more than once came out totally unemotional and it showed no matter how crappy things get he wasn't going to change. Even refusing to fire head coaches midseason for that very reason. Tepper seems a bit stuck in the now and that's very true but hopefully he will review the past and make adjustments off season. This is definitely a ego blow but he could have rode out the season and not even stood before us. He coming out to talk is his way of saying I screwed up and I'm not use to that. I don't like taking Ls and it pisses me off. Young owners have a learning curve and tepper just learned one.

It's not that it matters but why back Rhule? Every sign says he is the worst HC ever. I get 2001 we were mostly young but hell we have less time on this earth now. We need a good coach even more now and maybe one SB in our lifetime.

My dude the season hasn't ended yet. I will be sure to tag you when it's over. We are as of right now statistically on a path to be one of the worst offenses ever. We didn't even break 300 yards total offense until yesterday in garbage time with PJ Walker. Our dysfunction isn't going to get better either with the loss of our head coach and DC. Players will give up and we will get worse.
