Like why is this board going retarded over Fitt and not Wilks and co. I never understood the huddle logic.

They are who they are. People are not saying Wilks wouldn't take another prove it year after this game. Wilks isn't a long term option either way.

We got two years to really fill out the roster. Not shipping Burns off was a mistake but we could get a QB this year and still pick top 5 next year with our cap situation.

We just need the Texans to get one more win.

I really doubt we win another game. PJ has been figured out and this team is trending down. Falcons and Saints are possible but the South is still up for winning so I think they will try to crush us.

Well this game hasn't seasoned well. Glad I chose dirty Myrtle over watching this game.

Hooker would be good for a team that's already got a pretty good team and needs a QB on a cheap deal to come in. He has all the tools you need but he won't have a long career because of his age. He will be 25 at the time of the draft and 28 before he's settled in as a NFL QB. Crazy to think Lamar Jackson is about to get paid his first mega deal and he's 25!

It's why I haven't seen a game since Cam was in his prime. Both JR and Tepper have high expectations for fans with pretty low results.

Most on here don't know poo about QBs and it shows. Levi's will have a better career than Young. With that said Detroit isn't picking first and they ain't going QB.

They are both able to lead and build from there background. My problem with Wilks is my problem with Rhule. While Wilks is a better leader, he's not a guru in any field. I would be willing to take a shot if we can't reel in better talent. Also and no, no coach deserves 7 years unless they have won us a SB.

He's old as Darnold and has to learn a NFL system. I would love him in the mid first round but not top 5. There are better choices.

I truly think he needs a 2 or 3 year deal if top prospects don't want us. Still a coach like Kellen Moore or Shane Steichen could provide exactly what Wills is doing and probably have a better pool of people to pull from.

You can try to make excuses for Alabama but it's still not going to help Young. As ranked they have the 6th best OL in the country. Or are all these people wrong and you're right? If we are ignoring everything Stroud, Young, and Hooker are all franchise QBs. But in the real world that just isn't so.

Worst OL for Alabama is still in the top 10. That's a big difference than say most of the rest of college football. Also Wright is more a 2nd day RT not second round. Hooker keeps rushers at bay with his running just like Young but both have flaws. Young being he's 5 11 and Hooker being his age and system. Neither will be franchise QBs. Besides there are other QBs with better mesurables and similar stats when put in prospective.

Bryce Young has the 6th best OL in the country. He also has a better team all around to get him the ball more. Hooker has a OL in the low 60s. People get too hyped up about Alabama every year because their roster is always full of first round picks and run the Sabin system. That's why good NFL QBs don't come from Alabama. Especially the ones not talk enough to see the passing lanes. You don't get to play Upper Mississippi State in the NFL. You also don't get those passing numbers from Good WRs and a shitty line unless you are a good QB. Is Hooker a top 5 QB? No but Young isn't either.
