I feel exactly the same. The reality is we have to win out and I doubt we can do that.

All in all I never had a problem with McDermott and at the end when Rivera was calling plays. The worst seasons were Wilks and Washington. They both were not good DCs even with a pretty good units. The stupidity of running man when we had zone CBs were the issue. Rivera never really put too much money into that position because of his mostly zone scheme.

Look we are all here. No one wants to see the Panthers suck long term. Some just want a moral victory while others a new strategy with winning consistently in the future.

And probably months ago. This even happens in playoff years. You can pay half your season ticket price doing that.

how dare the fans not show up! How dare they sell their tickets in a loosing season! Those fat assholes! You might have a point if it were the Lions or Bucs but we literally saw a guy try and buy tickets and it was 1500 dollars in the upper deck for 4. In other words shut your bitch ass up.

It use to be that your record reflected your pick. They changed that years ago because shitty NFC West teams would go to the playoffs and still pick top 10. Now you get the bottom half if you make the playoffs. For us because we will win our division we would pick after all the wild card team.

It's pretty laughable that we are even still in contention for the playoffs. The entire NFC South needs to do better because a team that fired it's head coach and hasn't been on a hot streak in December shouldn't be here. No matter who wins the division they have zero chance of advancing to the SB. It's not because I'm negative I see that. It's because it's just we are a terrible division. It's almost a punishment at this point.

It would be a totally cowboys move to lose to the NFC South team. I mean if I'm a bubble team and get to choose any team to face in the playoffs it's the cowboys.

That is pretty shocking.

Unfortunately I believe that to be true. I really didn't see Pitt steamrolling us like they did. That was a bit shocking to me. If we were handled like that by Pitt the lions are going to drop 40 on us.

Butler and Benjamin were probably the two worst of this era even though both did contribute. We haven't had a solid bust in this era.

We are not as good as Jax coaching wise or talent wise. Besides that game was a fluke. A lot went Jaxs way. I watched the entire thing.

Outside of TE this team has plenty of offensive weapons. What it really needs is a QB. But getting that has gone out the window because we have won a bunch of meaningless games. So don't expect that to change any time soon.

Generally DEs go ghost in the season. Hell Peppers did all the time. CJ was probably our best DE we ever had and was consistent throughout his career.

I'm pretty sure not even Snyder has lost 100mill on a busted practice field.

If you're a good team yeah. If you're the Panthers no.

Washington has generally been a better team than us. Not by much but they are at least a little bit better. They are getting exposed tonight though.

We lost the trenches because we didn't scheme right. Somewhere in the game plan mainly on defense they didn't get it right. Play calling was pretty bad too. Winning the trenches can be done many ways but we just got out coached.

If you're a offensive guy it's not going to be hard to find a DC that would like to work with our defense.

Mine hasn't changed. I really like Kellen Moore. His concepts to hide Prescott's BS have been wizard like. Same goes for Shane Steichen because his play calling hides a lot of Hurts downsides. Both deserve interviews and both have really good records with multiple QBs.

Well that's relative because we haven't really had too many bad picks in the 1st round no matter where we pick. Now 2nd through 7th yes.

I don't even understand why every division gets a playoff team. There are wildcard teams that are better than us.

When we have a different DC. McDermott/Rivera always made zone pretty aggressive but Wilks and Washington always had some basic zones that were always soft and not aggressive when needed.

Sounds familiar right? Welcome to the Panthers where we are going to win just enough to not get a great draft. Depending on how the next 3 weeks goes we have a 80% chance of staying exactly right there.
