  1. If Fields, Lance, or Trask are there you do.
  2. I have a feeling they take Pitts because of QB1. Cincinnati likes to make splash moves like AZ.
  3. Actually he did play LT in spots and did quite well. I just think both staffs like him more at RT because of his power. Me personally would rather let him develop and hopefully let us push to the playoffs this year instead of him getting beat by confusing fronts he's never seen before. Talent only takes you so far and while the kid is definitely talented his experience facing good DCs is a bit limited.
  4. Well they might see how the draft pans out then make the call. Trading away a 3rd this year for teddy and his contract would be about right or a second and 6th next year.
  5. Teams are going to have to deal with the fact we are not releasing him. Allowing him to seek a trade is just beneficial to both parties. If he's not traded he will compete with Darnold.
  6. No doubt a change of scenery was needed for Darnold but Brady has his work cut out for him. I will agree Adam Gase was a horrible coach and OC. Darnold was put in a poo situation where he had zero talent around him as well. Still he was drafted off of talent and that just doesn't translate in the NFL a lot because everyone is talented. Hell Cam struggled and he really was more talented than most of the NFL. We will see just how good Rhule and Brady are. No doubt if they can turn around Darnolds career they are as advertised. They definitely couldn't for Bridgewater though.
  7. Imo if we did draft him you slide Moton to LT and let Sewell start at RT. Just like Gross did his first year. He will still play a good bit of speed rushers but not have to protect the blind side. Darnold has the ability to slide pretty well. That's one of his best abilities. Moton definitely can lock down any side he's on. His strength though allows him to stymie bull rushes better than most though so he's a great RT. You also have Paradise who is a really good signal caller in the middle so that helps Darnold even more. Brady definitely could run his system a lot better with 3 anchors.
  8. I'm just saying they gave up more for Darnold than a 1st this year.
  9. The only reason he's being questioned is because he skipped a botched season. It was just a fluke of a year. Other then that hes the best OT by far.
  10. I like Fields but if you believe Darnold is your QB then you build around him the next few years and will need picks for that. I honestly don't think Fields will slip to 8 though.
  11. He has man handled guys that were elite. He's about as a no brainer as Lawrence is.
  12. You are giving away way too much draft worth. I would say to drop in the teens nothing less than a 1st next year and a 3rd the following.
  13. Yeah even if fields slips I'm ok trading down. A team would trade a whole bunch to get fields.
  14. Sewell is probably the biggest no brainer pick of the draft. If he falls to us we would be stupid not to draft him. We would have one of the best OT combos in the league.
  15. If all things are equal it's better to get picks and eat that cap than just eating it like what the other dude said. Reworking his contract would be difficult with just one year left and no reason for him to stay.
  16. This is a idiotic idea. Yeah let's just eat 22 million because why the fug not. Yeah cutting him is about as idiotic as your statement of him being unhappy tearing the team apart. He's not even a major player in our system. It's like the LS being unhappy.
  17. In no way would I cut him. He gives us options this year and his cap would only hurt us. We can wait till after pre season and the start of the year and if someone gets hurt we will get just as much compensation as now.
  18. We might be able to get back our second the way Fitters has been moving. We honestly have zero reasons to trade him unless good compensation happens.
  19. Snake

    Sewell

If you're not looking for QB 8 is a good place to be.

    Sewell

Yeah but then they give us a monster TE and Joe has no one to throw to again.
  21. The biggest question is has the Jets screwed him up so much he can't be fixed. His throwing motion was always lazy but last year it looks like he just had no one to throw too. He could have been a David Carr but wasn't.
  22. It was a win/win for him. He was making the playoffs either way.
  23. I think there was strong interest with everyone of getting rid of Bridgewater. I also feel they knew they were not going to get a QB in the next two drafts. They see this as a bridge for two years just like Stafford was.
