    Being a life long panthers fan I've learned one thing. Great defenses get you there but great offenses win championships.

    I'm really wondering who fits his system? Im going to guess Darnald but didn't Bridgewater and look how sour that got.

    No doubt he could become a good player but he's not a franchise QB. Fields is a winner and I can only guess why he dropped was because of medical concerns.

    Welp I really have hope for the kid but.the panthers are doing him zero favors not drafting a OT.

    Well I mean our last 3 drafts we have picked a defensive player first so I hope so.

    Fields is a winner and he won without a loaded team. Wilson and Lance are way more unknown than Fields. I'm guessing his medical history is what spooked teams.

    Horn could be an all pro but if Fields tryna out to be a top 10 QB its all moot.

    Well if thats the case we will be picking top 10 again next year.

    Thats more of a testament of how crappy our CBs were. I'm pretty sure they were all 32 in the league.

    Rhule has yet to draft a offensive player period.

    I say you draft two or three IMO.

    Now that I can agree on. By no means is Horn not better than anyone we had last year. We will probably have even more pressure up front so at least our defense will be better.

    Yeah I think giving up what we did and if Fields comes in and out plays him kinda makes the entire staff look bad. So we took a player that had zero effect on that.

    Yeah good or bad. I have no doubt though if Fields turns out to be a top 10 QB it will be a considerable ding on our HC and GM. Probably will make Tepper more active in decisions as well.

    Many considered Surtain a safer pick and have said he was more polished because of the team he played for. Me personally I just didn't like his coverage of Smith. When faced with equal talent he lost the battle a good bit. Doesn't really matter though our pick is our pick.

    He's considered the second best at his position just fyi.

    Well there's a reason it took till 8 to draft defense. Because its pretty weak this year overall. I have yet to understand though with 8 picks in two years we have yet to take any offense.

    It matters a bunch when you pick in the top 10. Many would argue we didn't even get the most proven CB. Not to mention we probably passed on a pretty good QB, LT and WR. I don't like the pick. Do I think he will bust no... But do I think he will change the game like a good QB could nope...

    I just struggle being happy with a guy who got destroyed by DeVonta Smith. While Smith and Fields were still there. Yeah if we were picking 10 to 16 great choice but at 8 its a reach this year.

    Obviously Brady thinks he can get more out of Darnald than NYJ did because Fitters is known for drafting multiple QBs.

    Let's just hope we find a guy to protect his blindside or we might be picking 1st next year.
