Mason Thomas fascinates me but that size scares me even though he looks really good on film and has the production to back it.

In fairness to Sadiq his combine performance was closer to Vernon Davis, and maybe it’s no coincidence that there college production matches. However, like you I just don’t see that athleticism enough on tape I’ve seen. Also I was never the biggest Vernon Davis fan since I also thought he disappeared at times for someone with his gifts.

I really can’t stress enough how bad this offense could look next season with Rico likely gone. Not just cause my faith in Bryce is low but we have so few chain movers outside of Tmac things could look brutal….maybe Dan and Dave sort it out in FA but I doubt it.

If you’re drafting a guy like Sadiq who looks like Vernon Davis lite then you do so to make him a big part of your offense. He isn’t my preferred choice but I won’t hate the pick just because the offense looked bleak for good parts of the season and that was with Rico going off….

I would reluctantly take Downs at #19.

He didn’t participate in the combine due to a hamstring injury. Pretty big red flag when you’re already have injury concerns…

I would not hate if we went Dillon Thieneman S, Rodriguez ILB, and Dani Dennis Sutton Edge. But maybe after the combine it may not be possible to get the last two in the second and third round without moving up or getting another second round pick.

I like the DL/Edge and ILB class. I think I like Parker from Clemson the most cause he reminds me of Hendrickson and they had similar college production. The ILBs I could go with any of Allen, Hill Jr., Rodriguez, and Volday and walk away happy. However, I’d be happy if other skill positions fall to us at #19 BPA if a Lemon or Tyson fell for whatever reason because they are playmakers which our team is desperately in short of in whatever shape or form.

Hope this bumps Sadiq top 15. Maybe the Bucs take him.
