  1. Seeing the Jets just trade a 6th round pick for Flacco while we gave them a 2nd, 4th, and 6th for Sam makes me sick.....
  2. Expect an all defensive draft in 2022….
  3. True…especially since out of 10,000 emails Gruden was the “only one” who was caught. ….whole place is compromised
  4. Too much for a player with serious off the field question marks. I would prefer a more slow but structured rebuild not the mess we’re doing at the moment.
  5. I forgot we are a good team....better than the Jets but that is definitely not the banner I want on my porch. I am mad at the move because there was a high probability these would be the results. How well does a rebuilding team do wasting draft capital and cap space in your books?
  6. And nearly 4 years of tape showed why Sam was never going to work. Yet, somehow, somewhere they thought he would do better here. Where we still have no OL and an injury prone RB who is 90% of our offense? There wasnt even a if a good deal for those in reality. Maybe if Sam was picked off the waivers. Maybe if we just gave up a 4th and 6th round pick. Maybe if we went into the 2020 draft saying we are going to invest heavy in the OL or draft a rookie back up just to cover our bases. Maybe if we didnt pick his 5th year option If all or one of these were done this could have been a decent idea, but somehow this crew did the most expensive and damaging option and if reports/rumors are right they aren't done yet.
  7. Fitt and Rhule should be forced to offer their houses as collateral and maybe they will take things into consideration more....
  8. You can tell Rhule isnt even trying anymore at these press conferences lol...
  9. One thing was obvious when Cam was done was that this was going to be a long rebuild, no denying that. However, making the moves we did for Teddy and Sam was pure arrogance. This was a group of people thought they could paper over the cracks. This was never gonna be a half ass job but a patient rebuild. I do not mind a year or two of sucking if it means we are doing the proper steps to get there. But spending precious cap space and draft capital on mediocre to terrible vet QBs is the height of incompetence. So no, I don't think they deserve the "at least you tried badge" for this show.
  10. Good for you but effort for efforts sake is path to nowhere.
  11. LoL! And these guys have the gaul to call themselves professionals....
  12. I'm cool with that too, however there is a difference between shooting your shot and jumping into the nearest ravine blindfolded hoping to come up with gold.
  13. I get it I really do but this franchise has already comprised its future hence why we are where we are. We had an MVP level franchise QB for nearly a decade but we never gave him an OL to protect him. This compromised our future because it reduced his peak effectiveness by at least five years. In my opinion we are at rock bottom. I do not like Watson because of his baggage but I hardly think this potential move would be the end all be all. For me it happened a long time ago with a series of bad moves and the chickens have come home to roost.
  14. I agree with this, but I think Tepper has lost a lot of faith in either his coaches, front office or both that he told them they either get it right and fix this or hand themselves pink slips. I don’t think anyone wants to be going to Tepper’s office to give him any type of excuse. It’s tragic this is where we are…..
  15. Reminds me of the things said about Kyle Allen after that Green Bay game….
  16. Like signing two mediocre vet QBs back to back for costs they are not even close to and have never showed they are worth? I agree with your post but I’m trying to tell you we are looking at an organization that seems to do things just cause they can and until they show otherwise that is the expectation one should have.
  17. A mixture of bird signs, smoke signals and some sketch telephone psychics.
  18. Winging it?! This organization had signed Teddy to that stupid contract, made a stupid trade for Sam and even exercised his 5th year option. It wouldn’t surprise me if they are calling in telephone psychics and reading smoke signals before making decisions
  19. That’s a very roundabout way to say he sucks.
  20. The moment Cam's arm was shot this was always the best move forward. Maybe you didnt have to turn off the tv but going in with any sort of expectations would be ill advised.
  21. What part of the steelers system do they sign two mediocre vet QBs back to back?
  22. By going with Darnold the team essentially decided to stay mediocre.
