I’m with you on starting with offense first then defense. One of the reasons I was initially excited for Rhule was on the predication we would be switch gears to offense first. I would only be comfortable trading DJ for picks if it contributes to building in a very under invested and weak OL. We can’t make the most of our offensive weapons till that is fixed. Having one top 100 pick this season makes that hard to do. Most importantly DJ is a free agent in after what will be a lame duck year. I don’t think this team has the luxury of putting money into a WR who isn’t necessarily game changing.

Just wanna remind everyone, today was a good day.

Shot in the dark but, do you know any doctors that can fix this franchise? -

Panthers OC candidate is Not a fan of Sam Darnold

Frankly even with more context his statements on Darnold hardly paint Sam in a better picture. I would argue it makes Sam’s situation even more depressing. -

After today, everyone should understand you need a QB

I think we used up all the good karma/luck this franchise had for the next 10 years when we lucked into Cam and Luke. It’s gonna be a while before we refill our inventory. -

We’re year 3 in consecutive years picking in the top 10. Whatever we’ve been or are doing doesn’t seem to be working. -

Do you think this team can get to .500 or close to it with a rookie QB? But to be honest this regime has made so many fireable offenses already that even if they do pull something like that off I would have little faith in them bringing any real success. -
You will be in purgatory and you will be tortured with Panthers football for eternity.

I remember that draft well cause I turned off the tv and ignored it after the Cam pick. Fortunately I’m just a fan but now it seems like someone as dumb as me is now running this team, maybe even dumber and the owner is to prideful to admit he hired a dumbass. Tepper is probably telling himself he doesn’t want to meddle and would rather leave it to the experts. But if I saw someone try to fix my plumbing with a jackhammer I would fire that dude. -

Worst part is Rhule is entering a critical year 3. If we pick top 10 in 2023 he is most likely not making that pick. What is stoping him from throwing the kitchen in this years draft? Is Tepper truly that dim or is he being deliberately ignorant? -

Exactly. What is easier to get rid of? A QB on a rookie deal or the FA QB you signed for 20m to 30m a year? It’s like this franchise purposely deleted common sense from their memory banks. I’m surprised we even lucked out into drafting Cam -

Which makes me question why this organization doesn’t use it. I know as a fan I know very little compared to professionals but how do you go Teddy and Darnold when we have been picking in the top 10 for the last two years? After what the Cards did it showed me you should never be married to any QB unless he shows you he is blue chip. Screw feelings this is a business in the end of the day. -

In the long term especially with the rookie salary cap it’s cheaper to use your first rd. picks at QBs vs what we have done with trading picks and wasting salary cap on Teddy and Darnold. -

I agree. Keep picking QBs till you find the guy. I doubt the Cards are losing sleep cause they picked QB in the first round in consecutive years with Rosen then Murray. -
I have more Faith in Scott Fitterer than Rhule.

Rhule will be fighting for his job so I wouldn’t hold my breath on them mortgaging this team’s future. -
I hope Tepper has given Fitt veto power on any of Rhule’s decisions.

And all those picks especially the 2nd are high picks.

How Rhule's Fug Ups Secured Him Another Year

Will not be suprised if we traded future picks to trade back into the top 100 in this years draft. This crew is looking that desperate to me. -
