  1. Only if the right deal came. He’s far from untradeable
  2. Big question is does Tepper believe that. If he trusts Rhule then he will give him free rein to get himself out of this mess of Rhule’s making by trading picks and players. If not he forces Rhule to run with Sam and make sure he doesn’t mortgage this team’s future in the process.
  3. It really doesn’t make much sense. Darnold would have to put up numbers he hasn’t shown capable of to be worth 19m/yr. It was better to gamble on the side that he wouldn’t to that great on top of letting him play on a contract year to light a fire on his ass. If he had magically put up a 20 to 25 td season and played hardball as an FA let him be another team’s problem since he probably threw 20+ picks on top of that.
  4. Unfortunately we were never as close as the rams. 2015 things just magically clicked but in 2016 we should have gone all out. Those late first round picks were trash and should have been traded for elite OL to help Cam.
  5. Why the hell is Tepper allowing Rhule to get away with this? I can only hope he took away some roster building decision making duties to Fitt and the coaching staff.
  6. If Watson hears Rhule’s Jay Z speech he will be convinced.
  7. Unfortunately Rhule is out coach so Pickett is part of the equation.
  8. Im told these rich people are smarter than us plebs. Some even say we shud ride their nuts. What benefits is there to allow Rhule the ability to throw the kitchen sink to get him out of this mess?
  9. It’s no doubt that Rhule is facing pressure to put up results but my question is how far would Tepper let Rhule go to do so? Would Tepper rein in Rhule if he tried to trade future first round picks/blue chip players or do you think he will sit back and let Rhule do whatever he wants to dig himself out of his current mess?
  10. When Rhule and co traded draft picks last season in the hope of expediting the rebuild they essentially sacrificed 2022 if things went belly up and unfortunately that’s what ended up happening. Now we are a team still full of holes with 19m tied to terrible QB and one pick in the top 100. Tepper deciding to keep Rhule is also in a way sacrificing a season and depending on the moves Rhule makes to dig himself out of this mess we may be sacrificing 2023 and beyond.
  11. We’re taking Pickett. Rhule’s temple connection and Tepper’s alma matter makes all this inevitable…
  12. People are deluding themselves if they think Burns is Von Miller 2.0. Thats not a criticism at all but it is what it is...
  13. That post season Flacco was insane. 1100 yds, 11 TDs, and no picks and all in 4 games. Elite numbers even though he went back to his mean for most of his career.
  14. The pressure would certainly be there but whether it happens or not is still up in the air.
  15. But do those evaluators have a significant voice or any voice? If yes then they haven’t made a good case for themselves these past couple years and if no then the guy who has the decision making powers is not someone you can trust. Just to clarify I agree that if a team doesn’t have a franchise QB then they need to get one, especially in the draft. Even if the guy Rhule and co. picks will get Josh Rosen’d it still makes sense to still trying to get a QB.
  16. Do we have the guys who can do that job? So far this has yet to be seen and evidence currently points to no.
  17. The worst part is that we are in the worst year to make that investment. This is truly a case of Murphy’s law.
