I'm more interested in completion percentage and YPA (and wins of course), than yards or touchdowns. It's not too hard to imagine Young throwing for 3,900 yards in an abstract way. What is harder to imagine is who those yards are going to. That would probably require two 1000 pass catchers on our team. I don't know that we have two 1000 receivers on this team.

During the UDFA phase an under the radar signing was Abe Camara. I've heard we are trying him @ safety ...
I need this guy to make the 53. Sneaky good signing.
I like the hits, but I gotta say, I get pretty nervous when a cornerback’s highlight reel doesn’t show him actually covering receiver.

This is getting to the point in the draft where teams start picking players that may not make the team. But it’s also I place where you can still find real talent. I hope we don’t get cute and instead go True BPA. Would be great if that were a position of need like ilb or S (I like stutsman at ilb) but I’m fine with OL, DT, RB, TE, WR, CB so long as it’s good value for where we pick.

Thanks for sharing. But pretty cringe. Love the last scourton video though

What's up with Will Johnson falling?Injury concerns?

what does this mean for Graham falling? I figured jags would pick him at their original spot. does this just mean, browns will take him when they pick?

I hate that we are broadcasting this. This is like that snotty kid you knew in 3rd grade being like “My lunch is gross…wanna trade?”
No Aiden. No one wants to trade their pizza for your nasty wheat germ and nutritional yeast flake sandwich. especially not after you told us how it gives you hives and smells like balls.
we should be telling people how excited we are to have such a good pick. We are in the perfect position to pick any number of amazing players. I don’t want to hear anything from Morgan unless it is how valuable the 8th pick is.

I’d give this post two pies if I could. Really solid write up. I also really like the pick. Golden is my top wr in the draft and honestly is better at wr than most edge players are at edge. I like grant too. This is pretty much the draft I want

I would prioritize protecting Bryce and giving him stability. I’m in favor of drafting a tackle early but doubt a rookie will be much better this year than Moton and I don’t think the picks we’d get in return would be worth it. I say keep moton and keep an eye on BPA. If we see really good value at ot in rounds 2 or 3, grab them, but I wouldn’t trade Moton.

25 picks, to cut 15 of them.
Peak offseason content, just needed some uniform talk.
Honestly, if 10 rookies made the team, that’s a damn good draft.

first round mock is trash. Not because the Stewart pick is trash (though it is), but because the explanation is basically an admission that they don’t watch tape or know what they are talking about.

I’m honestly not concerned
Depending on the terms, if this is $8 mil guaranteed over 2 years, the bulk of the remaining $8 mil could be voidable.
And with the increase in cap, so factor in the proportional increase per room, this could be structured for basically just paying him 5-6mil per over two years if he doesn’t turn out. So if nothing blossoms, it’s marginal, but we know his floor. Totally respectable TE2. He’s like a Trey Burton IMO but is still just like 24 or something.
So, if nothing blossoms, with just that guaranteed, if we need room, 2026 cap room could get cleared easily.
I often wonder how he would be doing if we didn’t have the worst passing game in the NFL from 2021 until the final 6 games of last year. He always makes noise when given the chance. It’s whatever.
With this years decently sized cap increase, anticipate slightly higher contracts than you’re used to.
Pie for using the word “blossoms” twice in one post.

Honestly, every year I watch less closely as I think they are less and less informative of how successful a player will be. Combine superstars who go on to have successful in the pros usually already had success in college. But curious to hear what other people are looking for. Some people have a more discerning eye than I do.

I don’t want to sound basic but…wouldn’t mind skattebo in mid to late rounds if there

what do people think of walterfootball?
I think it’s ok. Don’t love the interface but I like the content. I just don’t know how accurate it is compared to others. I feel like it is a little idiosyncratic and bucs the trends of other websites which I appreciate. I feel like a lot of these sites can herd towards a consensus so I appreciate a site that has rankings that are a little wonky. For example having Kenneth grant over mason graham in their set rankings. Not sure if it’s accurate but appreciate that it’s different.

Not directly answering your question, but what I’ve enjoyed (and helps the offseason go by) is taking in the info from all of them then going and watch the film. Kinda fun if you come away with the same impressions. I also like to do it the other way, find a random guy with a round 4 grade or something, watch the tape, then go compare my feedback to the “pros”
That’s awesome.

I also enjoy Brett Kollman and EJ Snyder's content. NFLStockExchange and TheFranchiseGuy have been good watches as well. The NFL Draft subreddit is... a thing. Can sometimes find some interesting perspectives on players that you might not have been open to previously.
Appreciate it. Thank you!

I don’t watch a lot of college football so I read a lot of scouting reports to form an opinion on potential draft. My question is this
what is your favorite site to go to for nfl draft prospect scouting reports? What is the most thorough? What do you think is the most accurate?
I like the interface and detail of nfldraftbuzz.com but not watching college football, I have no idea how accurate it is. What is your go to?

I have been pounding the BPA drum so I want whomever is the best player at the time we pick (or trade down) but since the question was what is our biggest need, the answer is obviously EDGE (whatever that means). I just don’t see the value there at 8.

He’s the top of my board and if he is there I hope we take him. He would be BPA at a position we desperately need and I think would make a huge impact on the quality of play we see from other players in the front seven. He and DB returning would make a subpar LB group look much much better. I’m not smart enough to know about his scheme fit, but I’m more interested in culture-fit. If he really isa “dawg” and fits into the culture, I’m confident he will make a big impact.

They should go back to these. When they were losing, people mocked the "Errol Flynn" Buc on the side of the helmet--some said it made the team look gay because Errol Flynn was rumored to be--and that could have caused the brand switch--but this design with the flags avoids that issue.
Interesting, considering Errol Flynn was famously a womanizer and sexual predator (google it) Not saying you are wrong in pointing out thats what people thought about him or the uniforms. Just saying that homophobic people say some wild nonsense.

Really dig this. As an educator, I always love hearing grown-@$$ adults talking about and thinking about how they learn and what strategies they develop to serve their learning styles. Good stuff.
