  1. Honestly, every year I watch less closely as I think they are less and less informative of how successful a player will be. Combine superstars who go on to have successful in the pros usually already had success in college. But curious to hear what other people are looking for. Some people have a more discerning eye than I do.
  2. I don’t want to sound basic but…wouldn’t mind skattebo in mid to late rounds if there
  3. I think it’s ok. Don’t love the interface but I like the content. I just don’t know how accurate it is compared to others. I feel like it is a little idiosyncratic and bucs the trends of other websites which I appreciate. I feel like a lot of these sites can herd towards a consensus so I appreciate a site that has rankings that are a little wonky. For example having Kenneth grant over mason graham in their set rankings. Not sure if it’s accurate but appreciate that it’s different.
  4. I don’t watch a lot of college football so I read a lot of scouting reports to form an opinion on potential draft. My question is this what is your favorite site to go to for nfl draft prospect scouting reports? What is the most thorough? What do you think is the most accurate? I like the interface and detail of nfldraftbuzz.com but not watching college football, I have no idea how accurate it is. What is your go to?
  5. I have been pounding the BPA drum so I want whomever is the best player at the time we pick (or trade down) but since the question was what is our biggest need, the answer is obviously EDGE (whatever that means). I just don’t see the value there at 8.
  6. He’s the top of my board and if he is there I hope we take him. He would be BPA at a position we desperately need and I think would make a huge impact on the quality of play we see from other players in the front seven. He and DB returning would make a subpar LB group look much much better. I’m not smart enough to know about his scheme fit, but I’m more interested in culture-fit. If he really isa “dawg” and fits into the culture, I’m confident he will make a big impact.
  7. Interesting, considering Errol Flynn was famously a womanizer and sexual predator (google it) Not saying you are wrong in pointing out thats what people thought about him or the uniforms. Just saying that homophobic people say some wild nonsense.
  8. Same. He is one of my favorite prospects based on scouting reports, but not sure how reliable those are. Still need to see more from more prospects but he is an early fave right now after mason. Definitely preferred over carter.
  9. None hurt too much to lose. I’d like to see Shaq, Brady, mays, Corbett, tremble, Jackson, hekker,Jansen. Maybe that’s it. More than anything I want us to be disciplined about not over paying.
  10. I like him more than Abdul carter tbh.
  11. If that is how it plays out, I’m looking to trade down. Otherwise I’m going BPA. For me , BPA is Jeanty or Will Johnson. I think people are undervaluing RB, but even I wouldn’t take one in the first round, so I’d go with Will Johnson. Mykel Williams is in the conversation for me though.
  12. ... Sorry?? Dude, I don't know. I just created a topic. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings.
  13. I know everyone is flipping their shiznit about Bryce but I have no more thoughts to think about him and I don't really care what other people say at this point either. But can we talk about how bad our run game is? As bad as our passing game is, our running game isn't much better, and honestly an argument could be made that it's worse. Hubbard averages under 3.5 yards a carry over the last four games. we shelled out money to pay him and miles sanders and used a high draft pick on Brooks and paid a highly for two guards and we still suck at running the ball. 23rd in the league, but worse over the last month. I don't think Bryce is the answer, but to be fair to him, I don't see many young quarterbacks winning a game when they get sacked six times and their their starting running back runs for 32 yards. How do we fix the run game? I personally don't want us to invest more in running backs but we won't be getting better with or without Bryce with this run game being what it is. I don't think the run game can go ignored this offseason but how do we make it better without throwing more resources at a problem when we are already spending a lot on that position.
  14. One of the few bright spots on this team. Heck , might be the best offseason acquisition of the past two years. Which is speaks both to his talent and to the lack of talent we have brought in the last two years.
  15. Honestly, given where we are this season, why bother waiting? Just get it done sooner to heal more fully. I am absolutely against tanking but playing with an injury with nothing on the line is dumb.
  16. Been hoping for a speedy recovery for him. Obviously, no sense in rushing him given our record. But still…Legette got 8 targets yesterday and came down with only two catches. Gotta wonder what the outcome of the game would be if some of those targets went to Coker.
  17. Hate to be boring but I’d probably want to trade down and go BPA. We have so many holes and are still a ways from being a contender. No sense reaching for a position of need
  18. Biased? Most definitely. But I still think Luke was the best off ball linebacker almost every year he played. And at worst was maybe top three or four. Don’t know you could say that of many of the other names on the list though I like a lot of them…except manning.
  19. side note: looking at the list of potential players, it is bananas if he doesn’t get in. But Panthers are always getting screwed.
  20. Isn’t he listed as one of the 25 modern era players still in the running? The article says: ”The Pro Football Hall of Fame has its finalists for the seniors, coach and contributor part of the Class of 2025, but it still needs to decide the finalist for the modern-era players. The 25 players who are in the running to make the Hall of Fame are quarterback Eli Manning; running backs Fred Taylor and Ricky Watters; wide receivers Anquan Boldin, Torry Holt, Steve Smith Sr., Hines Ward and Reggie Wayne; tight end Antonio Gates; offensive linemen Willie Anderson, Jahri Evans, Richmond Webb, Steve Wisniewski and Marshal Yanda; defensive backs Eric Allen, Rodney Harrison, Earl Thomas and Darren Woodson; linebackers James Harrison, Luke Kuechly and Terrell Suggs; defensive linemen Jared Allen, Robert Mathis and Vince Wilfork; and kicker Adam Vinatieri.”
  21. This. The best way to stop the run is to compel them to pass.
