  1. Hope he works out. I liked him. I always felt like he had potential but never quite got there.
  2. Solid, low stakes signing. I like it well enough. My questions about rub are 1. Does Chuba have any trade value? (Probs not, but more than sanders. Maybe we could get another 5th) 2. Does Tarik Cohen have a shot making the team given the new kickoff rules? I can’t imagine he’s still got it and doubt he makes the team, but with the new kickoff rules, maybe he has the inside track against some of these other backs. regardless, it will be a fun TC battle to watch (or would be if stepper let us watch)
  3. 32 Jackson powers Johnson (c) 46 Adonai Mitchell(wr) 72 Payton Willis (lb) 101 Ja’Tavion Sanders(te) Not sure after that
  4. This is the best post in this thread.
  5. I love his hands and catch radius, but watching him run reminds me of Ian Thomas. dude is not light on his feet.
  6. Same. I honestly like the top three centers over most of the WR’s and I think it’s a bigger need.
  7. Yes. Extremely. And none have been taken yet.
  8. Verse finally taken. Great value there. And good for us.
  9. At this rate I think we hold on to 33 but maybe trade down 39
  10. Could Barton or Wiggins fall to us? I feel WR is the biggest need but there might be better value elsewhere the way this is going.
  11. FACT: I’m a Carolina Panther fan because panthers are awesome. When I was four-years-old I went to the zoo and saw a panther fight a normal ol’ leopard. I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. that point on panthers were my favorite animal. That same year, the nfl got two new expansion teams: the jaguars and the panthers and I swore my undying allegiance to the Panthers. 30 years later I’m still a fan.
  12. Thanks for posting this. It’s nice break from everything else getting posted here.
  13. No one ever got wet being that close to Tepper.
  14. All the buzz about ch stroud was getting tiresome. Glad our defense came out today.
  15. Glad you are posting this now given the change in playcalling. I am hoping Brown calling plays will make an impact so it will be interesting to revisit. It does look like he is improving but it is still pretty dismal. Basically went from being utter trash to maybe being recycling if you rinse it off.
  16. Pie for reminding me about Al Wallace. Loved that dude. The Nick Goings of DE’s!
  17. Wondering the same thing. I’ve always liked him and feel like he had some real potential in a 3-4. Hope he comes back soon and makes CD a full recovery.
  18. Great content. Lots of great stuff.A few things: - as an educator, I really appreciate what Cam is saying about how people learn and how players should work with coaches and vice versa. Outstanding point. - Coach Rivera still doesn't get the credit he deserves as a players' coach. And also seems like an absolute mensch. But I do still have a big issue with him which leads me to... - Lastly, can we pour one out for the careers both these guys could have had. Cam obviously had a great career, but he should still be playing today and would be in his prime at 34 if he hadn't been as abused and been supported properly. RGIII had an all time great rookie season and was then literally thrown under the bus and then had his coach back it over him again. Two great quarterbacks who deserved better from their teams and from the league.
  19. Of all the pieces of utter shyte sittin' atop the Soddy turf of BOA, I have found no shyte that smells worse than our guard play. Yes, Bryce has been shyte. Sanders has been expensive shyte. Most of the WR's are shyte. Even Icky, who I have been high on in the past, has been a surprise shart. But none of those shytes have been as smelly as the shytie guards. I think we underestimate how devastating loosing our two guards to injuries has been to our run game which we desperately need to support Bryce. Not to mention the impact on pass pro and keeping our local hobbit from getting David Carr'd by the end of the season which is already in the toilet (where the shyte belongs, frankly). I think our number one priority should be using game reps to develop our QB and salvage(and maybe even build on) whatever talent he has. I think the best way I can think to turn shyte into marble is addressing our guards and pounding the rock. So how do we unclog this toilet? Can't imagine there are options available to pick up though it's hard to believe no one out there is better than Zavala. Could we trade? Maybe player swap. I've heard some folks mention moving Icky to guard. Maybe Moton moves to LT and Lee moves up to RT. Personally, I hate it, but at this point it can't be much worse than what we have. What do you think? How would you fix the guard play?
  20. Of course. I wouldn’t be this pissed if I didn’t care. They suck and I’m mad at them but if my being a fan depended on them winning games, I would have stopped following them in 2001. It’s been less fun the last few years and this year in particular but I’ll still root for them. Theres always something to hold on to.
