  1. What did you expect? You're talking about the NFL's greatest franchise of our era and their greatest QB
  2. There are people here that would beg Brady to let them fellato him every night. Disturbing sure, but they love Brady that much. Their love for Brady is so deep that to them it is a "What God hath joined together, let not man put asunder" type thing
  3. from the tuck rule to spy gate to deflate gate, that's what happened. All still count though!
  4. both cheated, both lied, and both had issues with their balls. Lance Armstrong had to do a lot more on his own to succeed than Brady or any QB ever had to do though
  5. But it's Tom Brady. If he says cheating and lying is okay then cheating and lying is okay. He has a super model wife don't you know?
  6. Nice to see they let Brady off easy. Was hoping it would only be 3 games so he could play at the Cowboys in Gm 4 though
  7. Bro I don't know what rock you've been living under but Hardy got banned for 25 consecutive games (15 for us, 10 for DAL) and he got kicked off his team (us)
  8. every time someone gets in trouble by breaking the rules, they often have their Mom going "not my baby, my baby's a good person." So maybe we should all mentally put ourselves in the shoes of the mother of everyone who broke the rules and let everyone off! Good thinking, PFFC! Cam broke the rules as a young, young man, got kicked off his team and sent to JUCO for a year then a rival SEC team got him and he won the Championship for them so if we remove the name Tom Brady and put in it's place the name Cam Newton, that means Brady (who is 15-to-20 years older than Cam was when Cam broke the rules), should be kicked off the Patriots, sent to the CFL for a year, then should go be the QB for another AFC team when he gets back, like the Jets or the Bills Good thinking, PFFC!
  9. you can punish Tom in other ways that you can't punish a normal player. In exchange for taking games off Brady's suspension, make him ineligible for the Pro Bowl and the NFL Awards ceremony (punishments that would be meaningless to a normal player). I also suggested making Tom issue a public apology, which is a bigger punishment for Tom than it is a normal player because Tom's public apology will be get much more publicity than that of a normal player, and it would also be more punishment for Tom than a normal player because Tom is a huge star with a huge ego while a normal player isn't
  10. if it was a normal player, I'd do 4 for cheating and 4 for lying, half-season suspension. But we are talking about a star player here, one of the biggest stars in the game. Every game Brady misses will become less interesting to watch, and the less viewers, the more money the NFL loses, which is not good for Goodell. I rag on Brady plenty, but I still want to see him play. I think they should give Brady a 2-3 game suspension and then do the rest of his punishment in other ways (make him ineligible for the Pro Bowl this year, make him ineligible for the NFL Awards ceremony this year, make him issue a public apology, stuff like that) 2-3 games should be enough because it will be a big deal when he is suspended for the NFL Kickoff game on primetime 8:30 p.m. ET NBC when the Steelers go to New England But I want to see Brady play: -the 4th Game (at Dallas in JerryWorld) -the 5th Game (at the Colts on Sunday Night Football) -the 7th Game (Thursday Night Football vs Suh and the Phins) -the 11th Game (Brady vs Manning Sunday Night Football in Denver) so i hope they keep it to 3 or less and do the rest of his punishment in other ways as for the Patriots as a whole, they had 3 employees caught in a cheating ring, and this isn't the first time the Patriots have been caught cheating, so they need to be fined, lose a draft pick(s), etc
  11. The report shows with 99.9% certainly that Brady ordered the deflations, unless you believe the 00.1% chance that Jim the Deflator and John the Equipment Assistant wrote those texts with the intention of setting Brady up here's a nice image showing 29 pertinent text messages from May 2014 to Dec 2014: http://cdn.thinglink.me/api/image/652664444865740800/1024/10/scaletowidth for ex: John the Equipment Assistant: "Tom is acting crazy about his balls. Ready to vomit" Jim the Deflator: "Tom sucks...I'm going to make that next ball a f****** balloon" John the Equipment Assistant: "I checked some of the balls this morning. ..the refs f***** us...a few of them were almost at 16" Jim the Deflator: "F*** Tom, 16 is nothing...wait until next Sunday" Jim the Deflator: "Make sure you blow up the ball to look like a rugby ball so Tom can get used to it before sunday" John the Equipment Assistant: "can't wait to give you your needle this week :)" Jim the Deflator: "F*** Tom. Make sure the pump is attached to the needle. F****" John the Equipment Assistant: "I have a big needle for you this week" Jim the Deflator: "better be surrounded by cash and new shoes...or it's a rugby sunday. F*** Tom" John the Equipment Assistant: "maybe you will have some nice size 11s in your locker" John the Equipment Assistant: "big game tonight" Jim the Deflator: "tell Tom i need courtside"
  12. forget about the cell phone records, it's irrelevant. That's why I left out that bolded part out when I posted this yesterday in the main Brady thread. He's getting disciplined for lying to NFL investigators during the formal interview:
  13. note Brady said he likes having his footballs deflated back in 2011: "When Gronk scores -- it was like his eighth touchdown of the year -- he spikes the ball and he deflates the ball. I love that, because I like the deflated ball." http://mweb.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24980832/tom-brady-admitted-in-2011-that-he-likes-using-deflated-footballs and note that: "the Patriots have suffered fewer fumbles than the rest of the league over the last three seasons" http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/columnists/tim-cowlishaw/20150506-cowlishaw-tom-brady-s-punishment-should-be-long-enough-to-put-patriots-at-disadvantage.ece

  15. Tim Cowlishaw of the Dallas Morning News and regular panelist on ESPN's Around the Horn: "I can't see more than two games, I doubt Commissioner Goodell will even be able to stomach that much, given the defiant nature of his close pal, Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who found aspects of the Wells Report “incomprehensible.” ... But [even just a two game suspension] will place a stain on Brady's legacy that a handful of rings and the appearance of the perfect life can do nothing to remove. ... But [i think] the [Patriots] organization should be hit hard (fine, draft picks)" http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/columnists/tim-cowlishaw/20150506-cowlishaw-tom-brady-s-punishment-should-be-long-enough-to-put-patriots-at-disadvantage.ece
  16. Peter King: "I think it’s Roger Goodell’s worst nightmare, absolutely his worst nightmare because he obviously loves Bob Kraft. He loves everything Bob Kraft has done ... there other 31 teams watching to see what he’s going to do with his good friend Bobby Kraft. This, I believe, has got to be the toughest decision in the nine-year commissioner’s reign of Roger Goodell. ... I think if they suspend Tom Brady, there goes the relationship between Bob Kraft and Roger Goodell — maybe not forever, but certainly right now. And as far as how many games, as I sit here right now, I don’t know. I’m absolutely guessing. My guess would be two, maybe four. ... But again, I don’t know. I don’t know" http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/dallas-cowboys/nfl/headlines/20150508-si-s-peter-king-aftermath-of-deflategate-investigation-is-roger-goodell-s-worst-nightmare.ece?hootPostID=eaab6e0893aaa850c1b09f35d0cbdf87
  17. Troy Aikman would punish the Patriots more severely than the Saints were punished for Bountygate in 2012 (Saints got the maximum fine allowed...since they didn't have a 1st R pick, the NFL srripped them of two 2nd R picks...not only did the Saints players and coaches that were implicated get suspended, but they also suspended the head coach and GM even though there was no evidence they knew about it, because Goodell decided that it's not an excuse that they didn't know about it): “Now twice, under Bill Belichick and possibly a third time, they’ve cheated and given themselves an advantage. To me, the punishment for the Patriots and/or Bill Belichick has to be more severe than what the punishment was for the New Orleans Saints.” ... “Sean Payton did not cheat...Sean Payton and the Saints did not give themselves a competitive edge. ... There’s no proof on the field of that guys were targeting players. You can always pull out a play here and there. They were one of the least penalized teams for unsportsmanlike conduct. So there was no evidence that anything translated to the field that they were trying to hurt players. And they did not give themselves a competitive advantage." ... "there’s a lot of coaches and a lot of people that look upon the Patriots as a team that’s been favored [by Goodell] — I thought the punishment Belichick got for Spygate was a slap on the wrist, was next to nothing [there was no suspension for Belichick] — so we’ll see,” Aikman said. http://nypost.com/2015/01/22/aikman-on-deflategate-brady-knew-and-belichick-should-burn/
  18. Only In Boston @ OnlyInBOS 1h Would the NFL want their season opener, pretty much an American holiday, w/their biggest star on the sidelines? NFL Kickoff Game: Thurs, Sept 10, 2015 Pittsburgh Steelers at New England 8:30 PM ET on NBC
  19. JT The Brick @ JTTheBrick 5m Oh No! They are lining up on the phones @FoxSportsRadio to come after # TomBrady
  20. FOX Sports @ FOXSports 1h Report: Brady will be suspended by NFL; announcement coming next week "Roger Goodell's decision is expected to be announced next week and it is no longer a matter of if the NFL commissioner will suspend Brady, but for how long he will suspend him. In conversations I've had with several key sources who always have a good sense of what goes on at 345 Park Avenue, there is little doubt Goodell considers Brady's role in DeflateGate a serious violation. The NFL is convinced, according to sources, that connecting all the dots of the evidence supplied by Wells leads to one conclusion: Brady cheated. The feeling is the Wells Report supplied Goodell with enough ammunition to suspend Brady both for breaking the rules by ordering the deflation of footballs and by not cooperating with the investigation ... The only question now is how many games with which Goodell will hit the league’s star player? Estimates have been all over the map." http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/myers-roger-goodell-suspend-tom-brady-deflategate-article-1.2215881

  22. Patriots beat reporter for the Boston Herald Jeff Howe @ jeffphowe Source close to the Deflategate investigation believes a disciplinary ruling could be made as early as this afternoon. "A source close to the Deflategate investigation believes a disciplinary ruling could be made as early as this afternoon. The source stressed nothing official has been relayed, but there is a feeling this situation could be resolved quickly. Obviously, if it doesn't happen today, Monday would then come into focus because the NFL holds off its business dealings over the weekend." http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/patriots_nfl/the_blitz/2015/05/source_nfl_could_issue_deflategate_discipline_ruling_today
  23. 2 to 8 was what i was thinking as well... Fox Sports: "The general feeling seems to be that Brady will be suspended for multiple games, though that could mean two or eight. One report has already indicated that “everything” is on the table for a potential punishment" http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/tom-brady-new-england-patriots-report-long-suspension-wells-report-050815
