  1. NBC Sports: reason to watch: "Because everyone hates these teams: There’s no denying that these two teams, and their fan bases, have become the villains of the NFL." http://www.nbcsports.com/football/nfl/forty-nine-reasons-be-excited-super-bowl-xlix
  2. PFF: Revis and Sherman combined to give up only three touchdowns all season — and only one from Week 6 on. Jamie Collins (NE), Dont'a Hightower (NE) and Bobby Wagner (SEA) all ranked in the top five in PFF grades among inside linebackers in 2014. In other words, three of the five best inside linebackers in the NFL will all be playing this Sunday. NE kicker Stephen Gostkowski made 94.6 percent of his field goal attempts this season, second best among all kickers with more than three attempts, behind Adam Vinatieri. SEA kicker Steven Hauschka made 83.3 percent of his field goals, 18th among qualifying kickers. This will be the first Super Bowl matchup that will feature two teams that rushed for over 175 yards during the Conference Championship game since the Dolphins and Vikings clashed at the end of the 1972 season Brady had the football out of his hand third fastest among all quarterbacks this season, averaging just 2.39 seconds until throw. Wilson held onto the ball longer than any quarterback, averaging 3.20 seconds until throw. Russell Wilson was pressured on 46 percent of his drop backs this season, most among all quarterbacks. That’s the highest rate recorded since PFF began keeping tabs in 2007. Russell Wilson threw the ball away 39 times this season, most among all quarterbacks. Next closest was Matthew Stafford and Eli Manning with 28 throw aways. https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2015/01/31/49-stats-for-super-bowl-xlix/
  3. Patriots practiced this week at the Cardinals facilities, SEA at the Arizona State football facilities
  4. CB Walter Thurmond, who started last year's Super Bowl in the SEA secondary but is now with the Giants: on Kam Chancellor: "he’s the ultimate competitor. I would say he’s the most feared player in the NFL just because of his physical stature and because of his ability to be able to wreak havoc on opposing offensive players. He’s really where the Legion of Boom comes from, him and Earl and that relentless pursuit to want to be great. He plays dominant." http://nypost.com/2015/01/23/how-great-is-the-legion-of-boom-ask-giants-cb-an-ex-seahawk/
  5. I'd like to see the game won on a game-winning drive with just under two mimutes left. And a back and forth slugfest all game
  6. keep in mind she would most likely not be alone no matter what. Even if Sherman is a few hours late because of the game, I'd imagine he'd make sure she is surrounded by loved ones from their friends and family
