  4. i was wrong about TE Dickson, you look the thread up when we signed him and i was doing cartwheels. But look at the reaction to the Panthers signing Cason. Everybody acting like it's a grand slam greatest thing ever. Gettlemanjack shows up on page 6 with facts showing the dude ain't near as good as you think....
  5. mmm. See the kind of bulbs we have on the tree here? Let them be blissfully happy their Dad got them a bag of dog poop for Christmas and they love it and think it's great? Is that what you want?
  6. i agree that we just got to hope for the best with Oher if he ever makes the team or gets a start. that's highly unlikely tho
  7. what you see as hate i see as truth. open your eyes. Oher sucks bad. Very bad.
  8. some of the ways Oher is better than Bell: 1) Bell never lived in a $1.3 million home like the one Oher purchased when he moved to Nashville for his year with the Titans http://www.tennessean.com/story/money/real-estate/2014/05/27/michael-oher-purchases-brentwood-home-m/9645299/ 2) Bell has never been the subject or a book or a movie (Oher was one of the subjects of a book written in 2006 made into a movie in 2009) 3) Bell hasn't written a book (Oher wrote his autobiography, I Beat The Odds, in 2011) 4) Bell doesn't pull the ladies like Oher does
  9. Oher's last two seasons in Baltimore: 2012 - Oher gave up 10 sacks during the regular season, second-most among regular left tackles and fourth-most among tackles overall. http://articles.baltimoresun.com/2013-05-06/sports/bal-sports-blitz-michael-oher-right-tackle-20130506_1_michael-oher-tackle-bryant-mckinnie 2013 - at RT, Oher allowed a team-high eight sacks and 42 quarterback hurries..he is the most frequently penalized player in the NFL since entering the league. He was the last-ranked tackle in the league in run blocking last season, according to Pro Football http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-source-michael-oher-visiting-titans-today-raiders-up-next-20140314-story.html
  10. Sarah Ellison @ sgellison Nov 6 Rick Wagner is NFL’s top-rated RT by PFF. Michael Oher is the NFL’s lowest-rated RT. Letting Oher walk = smart decision. Frank Burton @ frankyfratelli Nov 5 Ravens right tackle Rick Wagner has thrived in Michael Oher 's old position Ryan Mink @ ryanmink Nov 6 Umm yeah, I think the #Ravens made the right decision letting Michael Oher walk and trusting Rick Wagner. 11. you're thinking too negative. Look at it like this: the other day my friends wanted to see Jupiter Rising. I checked some reviews and the reviews all said the movie sucked and was a total bomb. However, i decided to go anyway because it's nice going to a movie when i think it's going to suck, because I'm never going to be displeased. On the other hand, i hate when i think a movie is going to be great, because it sucks when it isn't (like what happened to me for "I Robot") Same with Oher. If you think he's going to suck, you won't be displeased with him as a Panther. If you think he's going to be great, you're setting yourself up to be displeased with him as a Panther
  12. everydayshouldbesaturday.com OHB @ohholybutt Nov 9 think I'd rather have Sandra Bullock on the Titans line than Michael Oher at this point. Ravens writer for the Examiner and CBS Baltimore Samuel Njoku @ Ravens_Examiner Nov 9 Michael Oher literally mastered the art of the false start.....and getting beat by edge rushers on a consistent basis
  13. #74 RT Oher getting tossed around like a rag doll. Look how little and weak his legs are. How he is supposed to anchor himself? http://youtu.be/X9JJA2sTy8U
  14. sure about that? because Oher allows more sacks per snap than Bell does. At RT, Oher allowed 1 sack per 108-109 snaps, while at RT, Bell only allowed 1 sack per 116-118 snaps. At LT, Oher allowed 1 sack per 92 snaps, while Bell only allowed 1 sack per 109 sacks Sacks Allowed Michael Oher 2009 Bal 8.00 2010 Bal 7.00 2011 Bal 5.75 2012 Bal 11.50 in 1058 snaps - 1 per 92 snaps [Oher was LT] 2013 Bal 10.00 in 1081 snaps - 1 per 108 snaps [Oher was RT] 2014 Ten 6.00 in 651 snaps - 1 per =109 snaps [Oher was RT] http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/playerstats.asp?id=9287 Byron Bell 2011 Car 4.75 2012 Car 8.00 in 943 snaps - 1 in 118 snaps [bell was RT] 2013 Car 8.75 in 1014 snaps - 1 in 116 snaps [bell was RT] 2014 Car 9.25 in 1009 snaps - 1 in 109 snaps [bell was LT] http://stats.washingtonpost.com/fb/playerstats.asp?id=25415 snap count: http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/snapcounts
  15. from an article on the Panthers signing Oher: "Oher was one of the worst offensive tackles in football last season. Pro Football Focus ranked him 50th among 54 eligible tackles in its pass-blocking efficiency metric, the fifth straight season he's fallen outside of the top 30. Long viewed as a below-average pass-blocker, his 2014 campaign all but ended his chances of having a guaranteed starting spot. Over the last three seasons, the first two being in Baltimore, Oher allowed 27.5 sacks, per The Washington Post . It's possible Oher would have had his third straight season with 10 or more sacks allowed had he not missed the last five games with a toe injury ... The pass-blocking woes do not appear to be going away, and while Oher has ability as a run-blocker, it's only sporadically there on film. ... According to Pro Football Focus ' grading system, Oher has gotten progressively worse each season. More disconcertingly, Oher hasn't been a net-positive player since that initial campaign. ... He'll likely compete for the starting right tackle spot [for the Panthers] while working on the type of deal where it isn't too complicated to move on if necessary." http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/2386314-michael-oher-to-panthers-latest-contract-details-comments-and-reaction

  17. in 2012: Byron Bell allowed 6 sacks as a 23-yr-old RT (15 starts) Michael Oher allowed 11 sacks as a 26-yr-old LT (16 starts) Greg Hardy got 11 sacks as a 24-yr-old DE (15 games) http://presnapreads.com/2013/06/21/justin-houston-a-superstar-sail-emerging-from-a-sinking-ship/
  18. here's a video of a Houston sack on Oher. Oher could barely get a hand on him: http://gfycat.com/EvergreenSelfreliantHyracotherium
  19. i think he beats out David Foucault and takes his spot on the 53-man roster. Or least i hope he's better than Foucault. Foucault is younger tho, so Foucault may have more upside
