  1. bruno gunn @ brunogunn 15 Jan 12 I'm waiting for the Head and Shoulders commercial where Troy Polamalu finds out Joe Flacco has been using his shampoo on his eyebrows.
  2. in response to "Who is troy polamalu ??" Koli @ iLOKizFRESH 19 Mar 12 one of the better Samoan athletes with the most feminine voice and a shampoo commercial lol.
  3. Lace @ LaJae2494 29 Mar 12 Polamalu is no longer the only football player sponsoring a brand of shampoo ...
  4. Señor Cash @ Senor_Cash 28 May 12 He also aspires to be inducted in the Head & Shoulders HOF
  5. Francis Lam @ Francis_Lam 5 Dec 12 Funny that Troy Polamalu , maybe history's most otherworldly athlete, is known by millions as a dude with big hair selling dandruff shampoo .
  6. William @ MiltownBucky 5h Clay Matthews should try to get Polamalu 's shampoo sponsorship since Troy is retiring.
  7. Nappy Gilmore @ dyllyp 6h Troy Polamalu is the reason I use Head & Shoulders shampoo
  8. Keep in mind we got better last year when we replaced older vets in the secondary with younger guys (DeCoud and Cason were replaced by Boston and Benwikere). Like our DC said: "[We] finally [got] a chance to see what [we] really [had with the vets] and you say, ‘OK, you know what? We need more foot speed.’ And that was evident to most of us early,” McDermott said. " We couldn’t get the foot speed on the field because they were in the training room. But they got healthy, and we got them on as soon as we could" http://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports/nfl/carolina-panthers/.article9249461.html But having Tillman replace Harper on passing downs we be a plus. Also, there will be some guys we play this year Tillman matches up well with at CB which will be a plus
  9. that $3M number is meaningless. Wait until the details come out. It all comes down to how much he got guaranteed. If we gave him $1.5M+ guaranteed (which I'm thinking we did), then we think he's a lock to make the 53 Keep in mind we got better last year when we replaced older vets in the secondary with younger guys (DeCoud and Cason were replaced by Boston and Benwikere). 10. Will be interesting to see what we will do with Tillman. I agree that there is a good chance we leave Bene on the outside opposite Norman. I'm guessing Tillman would mostly play nickel in our base D and replace Harper at SS on passing downs
  11. That's a good point. Everyone was saying his career was over when it happened and it was really sad to see him sobbing on the sideline like that. You could tell how much he loves football, it's very cool that we are the ones to give him a chance to play some more of it. I also didn't realize he was MOTY year before last. I'm really enjoying having back to back MOTYs signed to our defense: 2013 NFL Man of the Year award - Peanut Tillman 2014 NFL Man of the Year award - Thomas Davis
  12. During Rivera's 3 years as Bears DC, Tillman had his lowest total of FFs during any 3 years in his 12 year career. Probably because Ron teaches you to wrap up and make the tackle instead of punching at the ball and letting the guy gain more yards
  13. guys who did the rating watched his every snap. Did you?
  14. I would not be surprised if he had some bad moments but he looked awesome vs the Ravens on primetime during the regular season last year, which was the only Steelers game I watched sober. Polamalu finished last year rated the 9th best S against the run by PFF with a +5.0, tied with All-Pro Devin McCourty of the Patriots
  15. He's about to be same age as Tillman (Polamalu turns 34 in ten days). We should sign him up Polamalu is also only a year older than Cotchery and Roman Harper (who both turn 33 this year)
  16. Former scout with the Eagles, Jets, and Giants Dan Hatman @Dan_Hatman Mar 23 J.Fisher is way up on my OT list. His film was strong as are his testing numbers
  17. Last year Saints signed Champ Bailey then he didn't make their 53. Was a nice way to make Champ some extra change and provide leadership during training camp. Might be our plan as well with Tillman
  18. Editor in Chief LSU Daily Reveille Chandler Rome @ Chandler_Rome 31 Dec 12 LSU offensive line is getting absolutely abused. Abused, I tell you. Nose tackle Grady Jarrett through for a 10-yard sack of Mettenberger
  19. Dabo on when they recruited Grady: “Well, we turned him down three times initially and decided we’re not going to take him until he came to camp and he won every matchup,” Swinney said. “[At camp,] he wouldn’t go to the end of the line [during drills], he would get right up and go again. He was here to prove a point, and I’ve just never seen a guy work, ever, like I saw him work that day. “I went up to the coaches and told them, ‘We’re going to take this guy.’ He may not be as tall as we want or whatever, but I’ve never seen a guy come through here like he has.” They decided not to even redshirt him: http://www.clemsontigers.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=209763987&DB_OEM_ID=28500
