Lance Zierlein of NFL.com has Grady on his list of the 10 safest prospects in the draft: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000488373/article/brandon-scherff-amari-cooper-among-drafts-safest-prospects "Jarrett is a little undersized and will likely go in the second round, but he could end up having as big an impact as one of the bigger-bodied nose tackles in this draft. Jarrett can't impose his will through sheer power, but his combination of leverage, quickness off the snap and closing speed make him a dream come true for defensive coordinators looking for a penetrator up front. Mark my words, Jarrett will be giving NFL centers the blues for years to come." (reminder: Gettleman said in January: “If there’s a quality defensive end or defensive lineman there, it’s hard for me to pass him up.”)

Charlie Campbell on the Rams who pick at #10 (Rotoworld has RT/RG/C as the Rams' #1 need, writing: "On paper, there isn't a worse offensive line in the league. LT Greg Robinson and OG Rodger Saffold are the only bankable starters...St. Louis needs three new starting linemen, ideally at center, right guard and right tackle"): "Last year, we reported that the Rams were falling in love with Khalil Mack. It was true. The Rams loved Mack, but they felt the position value and the status of their roster dictated that Greg Robinson had to be the pick at No. 2 because they needed a long-term left tackle [more]. This year, there is a similar discussion with St. Louis. Sources say that they like some of the right tackle and guard prospects, but the Rams also love wide receiver DeVante Parker. In fact, St. Louis is one of the teams that feels there isn't much of a difference between Parker and West Virginia's Kevin White. ... Parker is definitely in play for their pick at 10. However, they still might elevate the need of the offensive line, as they have to get some help at right tackle and guard. Sources with the Rams say the four offensive linemen in play for their pick are Iowa's Brandon Scherff, Stanford's Andrus Peat, Miami's Ereck Flowers, and LSU's La'el Collins. ... It sounds like the Rams are in for a decision with the 10th pick between Parker and one of those blockers." http://walterfootball.com/nfldraftrumormill.php

Phillip Dorsett to meet with Panthers
gettlemanjack replied to LUUUUUKE's topic in Carolina Panthers
Peter Schrager @ PSchrags Apr 23 late night Draft nuggets from conversations this week ... 2. Teams are universally high on Phillip Dorsett (Miami.WR) -
on the Dolphins forums, they like how adding Jennings means they don't have to reach on a WR like Jaelen Strong at #14 This is who they think they are taking now: WR DeVante Parker (or if not there maybe Perriman etc) RB Todd Gurley (or if not there maybe Gordon) OG Brandon Scherff (or if not there maybe La’el Collins) CB Trae Waynes (or if not there maybe Peters, etc) Trade down (they don't have a 3rd R pick this draft for ex) Rotoworld has them taking Eric Kendricks because "true every down linebackers are difficult to find," and while their fans want Kendricks and have a need at LB, they don't think he is worth it at #14 and would prefer to trade down for him

Rotoworld's breakdown of the Jaguars' needs: They need a FS to replace Sergio Brown, but other than that their secondary is good. As for their front seven: "Aside from the Leo position (edge-rusher) and arguably middle linebacker (Paul Posluszny) , Jacksonville has the pieces in place to field a highly disruptive front seven." On offense they have Bortles and his weapons (WR Allen Robinson, WR Allen Hurns, WR Marqise Lee, TE Julius Thomas and TE Marcedes Lewis) and are good on offensive line with bookends Luke Joeckel and the newly acquired Jermey Parnell. But they need a better RB to add to their stable: http://www.rotoworld.com/articles/nfl/53128/71/nfl-draft-needs-jaguars
