  1. below average appeal @ ProbablyJudging 6m My Dallas Cowboys have Byron Jones with the 1st pick, Randy Gregory with the 2nd, and La'el Collins as an undrafted. We gon' be NFC champs
  2. Rowdy Cowboy @ RowdyCowboy_DC 5m This #Cowboys front office continues to amaze me, a STEAL with La'el Collins .Deal is 3 years/1.65 M . Way to go
  3. ESPN beat reporter for Cowboys Todd Archer @ toddarcher 2m Should also point out that La'el Collins ' coach at LSU was Les Miles, who was a former Cowboys' assistant coach. Solid relationship there
  4. Adam Schefter@ AdamSchefter 11m Here's the deal on La'el Collins deal with Dallas: Cowboys fully guaranteed the 3-year, $1.65 million deal, per source. Fully guaranteed.
  5. ProSportsTalkRT @ ProSportsTalkRT 3m Tyron Smith, Travis Fredrick, Zack Martin, Doug Free, and now La'El Collins . Wow. #Cowboys
  6. ESPN beat reporter for the Cowboys Todd Archer @ toddarcher 1m Told La'el Collins deal with the Cowboys is fully guaranteed at around $1.65 million and includes $21k signing bonus. Todd Archer@ toddarcher 45s In 2012 Cowboys gave Ronald Leary $214,000 guaranteed as undrafted free agent. Now gave La'el Collins more and Collins could take his job
  7. plus, Boateng is 26 and just entering his prime years. His best years are still ahead of him..
  8. But yeah Boateng had a bad game yesterday and he got beat bad on that 2nd Messi goal. But I'm just chalking that up to a fluke play. I've seen two of Juventus' central defenders have equally-as-bad plays recently that gave up an easy goal (in CL and in Coppa Italia semi-finals) and that was definitely a fluke for both of them. Both of them are still great Remember Steven Gerrard's famous slip last year in the huge game vs Chelsea where he fell on his ass and gave Demba Ba an easy goal to win the game for Chelsea? Gerrard is still great Remember Jameis Winston mysteriously falling backwards on his ass and fumbling the ball away in the huge game vs Oregon? He still went #1 overall Sports Illustrated Grant Wahl @ GrantWahl Tough play for Boateng to get posterized [by Messi], but he's too good to be reduced to a Freddy Weis punchline. Men in Blazers @ MenInBlazers Messi just posterized Boateng like Michael Jordan over Patrick Ewing
  9. while I've never thought of Boateng as world-XI-class, he is very good for the German National Team: Against Messi in 2014 World Cup: Boateng and Hummels were the two center backs for Germany in the 2014 World Cup Final vs Argentina. Both of them played the whole game (including all of regular time and all of overtime) and they held off Messi, Higuan, Sergio Agüero and Palacio without any problems in Germany's 1-0 victory. From his wiki page: "Boeteng won 83 percent of his duels [29] and made a last-ditch clearance against Lionel Messi in the fortieth minute. Several media sources named him as the Man of the Match. [30][31][32]" Against Christiano Ronaldo in 2012 Euro: Aaron Briggs @ Aaron_Briggs1 6h Will never forget Boateng playing as a rb in EURO 2012 and keeping Ronaldo in his pocket National Post, June 2012; "Portugal's offence is very reliant on Cristiano Ronaldo, which is why Germany can praise defender Jerome Boateng, for his work in keeping the Real Madrid star off the scoreboard. ... Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo remained anonymous, completely absorbed by German right back Jerome Boateng. ... Man of the match: Jerome Boateng, defender Ronaldo was wearing a jacket designed by Jerome Boateng; his own shadow could not have followed him closer. The Bayern Munich defender was never tricked by a step over, or got too close to be conned by Ronaldo’s infamous playacting. Boateng kept the Real Madrid star within arms reach, and gave him little room and little time to create." http://www.nationalpost.com/m/wp/blog.html?b=news.nationalpost.com//sports/soccer/euro-wrap-denmark-complicates-group-of-death-with-upset-of-netherlands Against Christiano Ronaldo in 2014 World Cup: Germany @ DFB_Team_EN Jun 17 National Team Men: Löw: Boateng did a superb job on Ronaldo: John Infante @ John_Infante Jun 17 Do the US have anybody to man mark Ronaldo like Boateng did for Germany? Jack Fowler @ EzekielN7 Jun 16 Boateng has done well containing Ronaldo Nabil Kenan @ NabilKenan_FCB Jun 16 I'm impressed with Boateng's pocket size. It fit all of Cristiano Ronaldo #30ThirtyFly @ jokeyz101 Jun 16 Now Ronaldo playing away from Jerome Boateng ManCityArmy1894 @ ManCityArmy1894 Jun 16 Why is no one slating Ronaldo people were so quick to slate Messi last night Ronaldo can't even get out of Boateng 's back pocket
  10. in the comment section at NBC Pro Football Talk, the comments getting the most upvotes are those calling for a 1-year suspension: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/05/06/nfl-may-discipline-tom-brady-over-deflategate/
  11. Rand Getlin @ Rand_Getlin 10h This is probably not going to end well for Tom Brady .
  12. this happened in Week 8, right before the Patriots played the Bears (Oct. 26):
  13. NFL Humor @ NFootballLHumor 7h Tom Brady expected to be suspended for warm ups at a preseason game. Hardest penalty a Patriot had ever faced.
  14. reminds me of the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Both Clinton and Brady did sonething wrong that a lot of people didn't think was a big deal, then both of them lied about it during their press conferences on the matter, then both got busted. Most people still like Clinton, a lot of people will still like Tom, but nobody will forget about the Lewinsky Scandal or Deflategate
  15. Asael @ PurpleHaze_503 3m GOAL GOAL GOAL MESSI THE GOD THE BEST EVER! West Ham Central @ WestHam_Central 4m LIONEL MESSI YOU ABSOLUTE GOD - GREATEST OF ALL TIME! Made @ MadeManJama 4m I haven't seen Messi celebrate like that in ages
