I don't see them cutting fozzy. They love the screen game with him and have said it multiple times. Will never forget his screen pass for the td in the playoffs vs the cardinals.

Not more than 7 mil? He's already gonna make 11 mil on his 5th year player option. I see him averaging about 12-13 mile a year when we extend him.

And he definitely won't be close to the top paid defensive player. Donkey Kong Suhs contract is ridiculous. Luke is not getting that type of money.

Like someone else mentioned, his cap will decrease the last two years of the contract, while 3-5 years from now the cap will increased substantially (if they keep going similar to the last two years). Which will leave TONS of money to bring in other people. I know we'll be competing for a superbowl right now, but I think the front office is really seeing a chance to build a "super team" and really go hard for a superbowl (or two) in the last couple years of his contract.

The people's comments about cam from that article really annoy me... They think they know everything about cam but most of them completely wrong.

Exactly, we had him ranked high on our Board, what's to say other teams didn't too.. And it's easy to say all this stuff after it happens.. Hindsight is 20/20

I like the pick personally. A bunch of people complaining but now he'll have a real quarterback and also have one of the best receiver coaches working with him.. And I bet a lot of you complaining he's more like a tight end were also some that loved our two tight end sets.. Either way it's gonna be mismatches galore.

I think we're in better position than we were last year. Definitely hope we bring someone in still.. But if you think about, Benjamin will improve, brown emerged at the end of the year, before we literally had no speed or deep threat, now we have two (sure not great but better than last year). And I think cotchery can be decent now that we have deep threats, not quick but good route runner and would be able to find some holes in the defense with the D having to account for the deep play..
