  1. Breaks my heart haha, We could have had him for #39 and #113 maybe more. And we could have paid him and moton .. the cap is about to explode.. let’s just hope chiefs can’t resign him and we sign him out right next year in free agency... or chiefs will figure away to resign him just like how the saints seems to be able to resign players when they already over the cap.. Either way we missed on a young franchise tackle because ?
  2. It’s a deep draft. Totally on board but don’t pass on Pitts or Sewell
  3. Do you have any perspective? is there somethen I said that you disagree with friend ?
  4. In theory it’s not hard, we are in a new age of cap space. It will take acouple years for the players pay to catch up with the fast rising cap ... eventually the player pay will catch up with the cap.. Tepper said he is willing to open up the check book ... how do the Saints always sign players when there cap space is negative.. sam has been running for his life ... get him a Pitts/chase and trade for brown (2nd and maybe 3rd ) not everyday a young tackle available... it’s worth exploring.. again cap is not the big deal it used to be and if it was... most important piece is the QB. The most important to the QB is his Oline. When the QB is in a clean pocket .. he can light up his offense weapons and control clock ... that will keep the defense fresh to go out and run hard all game. I get it we can’t pay 2 OT top dollar .. but for the next few years player pay will be chasing the cap !!!!!! Tepper message me
  5. He should be motivated in a contract year for that bag .. Too quote the big short “your house is on fire and I’m offering fire insurance” context: sam is the house and Orlando brown is the insurance
  6. Look at the tv deal ... if players get 49 percent or whatever... cap space is not an issue for awhile .. and how much does the highest tackle get ? 15-18 per .... plus after year 2 we can cut bait .. (if we have voidable years after year 2) Greg little was a 2nd round pick how he doing ? Nothing is guaranteed but too be scared about paying a lot for established talent for postion of high value that makes everyone better ... because a rookie might figure it out... I thought Tepper and fans are here to win championships ... and I know some are convinced that cap salary doesn’t really existed haha
  7. What’s significant to the cap to you ?.. cap room is there .. this is a known young franchise tackle ... sure he only played LT for half a year and did well and also has play rt for high level before that .. what player in the draft has done that ? Also it’s 2 guys not 1 hopefully locked up long term at tackles ...: give sam a vet not a rookie that has to learn the ropes ... sam might not have time for that ...
  8. obviously my intentions is that we would pay him. And with the cap number exploding we have the money Atleast for a few years... I think you should give him the contract amount he is looking for but with voidable options after year 2 also wants wrong with paying 2 OT’s ? If anything I want our oline stacked up ... “build the wall and championships will follow” - Jimmie Johnson
  9. What are you thinking they will want vrs what they will get ?
  10. There’s a young established franchise tackle from a Hof pedigree at the postion.. the money I understand but who cares the cap will be exploding for the next few seasons.. lock him now long term.. the rookie are unproven not saying they will be bust.. but this kid is proven!!!
  11. Brought this topic up awhile back... but with the tv deal exploding. And the amount of cap we will have in the near future... I think it’s a no brainer to get this guy in at LT ..... He played there at a all pro level last year... I think this years 2nd will get him .. but be prepared to make him one or the higher paid LT in the league ... I say do it .... what say you ?
  12. I got many and still doing more!!!! That time of year ... Looking at all my mock draft a coming theme is trading down.. Love to get Pitts in the 1st !!!!! David mills in the 3rd seems like a good long term pairing with joe Brady (even tho he gone in a season or 2)
  13. Tlaw wilson fields pitts sewell chase smith slater
  14. Linebackers get paid way more then safety’s ....... my thinking as well.. I guess we will know in couple years
  15. any of these guys from 4-7 all oline Adrian Ealy Garrison Coleman Landon young Earnest Barrett Jackson Carman Trey smith Kendrick Green Aaron Banks Josh sills Jimmy Morrissey Jarrett Patterson Drake Jackson Trey hill Nick Harris Deonte Brown Ben brown Jack anderson Chad Mays Teven Jenkins Jacoby Hammer Tyler Vrabel Cole Van Lanen Mitch Corr Cameron Tobin Abraham Lucas Daniel Faalele Cordell Volson
  16. Sewell worth ever bit of #8 would love to have him... Pitts however is a mismatch that we can’t pass up if he is there specially with all the oline talent in this years draft go oline whole draft after Pitts pick.
  17. Tlaw Zach Wilson Fields pitts sewell slater chase d.smith anyone of these guys in order top 8 picks Prefer trade back if the top 6 are gone and get another 2nd or 3rd rounder and drop back to no further then #15
  18. Pitts is the man if he is there you can’t pass on him ..... oline deep in this draft Pitts is generational
  19. “build it and they will come”
  20. The jets could get a 3rd round comp pick next year .... so the value was atleast 3rd round next year .. I say its better then paying 3 plus 1st for unproven rookie .. wish it was just a 2nd . But it is what it is .. I trust the staff !! Go panthers
  21. Giving up a 2nd and 4th next year .. kinda of have to pick up the 5th year option
  22. Jimmy g got a no trade clause this year. FYI so there’s that
