Goodness, I'm so sorry to hear that. I cant imagine how it must feel to work so hard only to have it ruined. We finally did a garden this year, not the biggest at 20x40 ft but it's a start. We planted tomatoes, okra, cukes, different types of bell & hot peppers. The only thing that did well was the okra & peppers. I think the soil needs more nutrients & organic matter, will do better next year. I'm going to have the soil tested, which is something we haven't done in about 5 years, it's been since we moved here.

No, I had no idea it's been that long but yeah, I still love ya! I just recently started posting on the huddle again and prior to that, I just had a bunch of stuff going on but things are starting to really look up now. Thanks for thinking of me.

I am from Jacksonville, FL originally but I've been living in NC since 1994.

I live in NC about 1 hour south of Raleigh. I was listening to Bob & the Showgram 105.1 out of Raleigh. Maybe they get their info from the same source.

We have a kitty we saved from our backyard last Dec. He just wondered up one day starving, skin & bones & cold. He's about 10 months old now & weighs 13 lbs! I never knew I could love a cat so much. We have a mini doxie too & they best franz.
