Brady is this generations Montana. Not abiding by or taking rules seriously doesn't mean much to him...its win, win and win. the Payriots started off the year abysmally, nothing will change with the Patriots...they will always exploit the rules and basically have made their own rules regarding how they' play the game.

Jameis Winston: "An Embarrassment"

Thou shalt not judge...and yes, I still find myself judging. Winston passes the eye-test. but he could turn out to be the next JaMarcuss Russell if he doesn't take his job seriously. -

Yeah, we've all done stupid stuff in our youth. Just glad we have the best QB in the league, and one who has overcome his criticisms concerning his youth. -
I just wish he would come back for a final SB run in the slot, for one more go. He was built for the slot and we never got to see him in that capacity. Give us a year on the cheap Smitty...play the slot and retire as a Panther. Statue erected and HoF concreted as a NFL champion Panther.

Looks like the Huddle arent giving Addison and Big Frank their due credit. Its still Monsters inc. Frank is a devastating DE when hes on the same page as the rest of our DL. -

Dont want to search theough all the posts, but is he considered as a FA and can work out any contract free of the CbA rookie scale pay grade? If so...he could get some seeious surprise contract cash? -
Secondary Roles of Shaq, Bene, Tillman, etc.
TheNewStandard replied to mpugh6's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah...not that comfortable with Tre as a starting SS. Definitely see Shaq as the starting WLB that plays coverage on TE and slot and just plain OLB on running plays. Maybe drops back as a SS for spread formations. front-4 CJ KK Star FA Middle field Shaq Luke Davis CB Norman, Bene S Tillman Norman -
He's got a strong build for sure. I dont know how much more muscle/build he could put on before getting clunky and ober-beefed. But yeah, could see him as a Toldozer replacement. Mike's days here are coming to a close. Tolbert just costs too much cash for his production. Didnt see any plays where he caught the ball out of the backfield, so cant comment on that. It willl be interesting to see what hes capable of.

First step looks quick and explosive. Hits the hole strong and follows bis blocking. Pretty good balance and has a heavy build and takes care of the ball. Upright runner for sure but keeps his core steady and has above average foot speed and agilty. reache top speed pretty quickly and has great vision and instincts look good. Appears to be patient while moving downfield. Looks like a really good pick that could do some damage as soon as he hits the playing field.

I highly doubt it. our interior linemen and DEs are too good to keep off the field. Just thinking we're looking for ST and some rest for Luke. Also, drafting Shaq and letting him stay in press and safety coverage allows Luke and TD to ficus on ball arriers and possibly even getting some pressure in the QB. Reminds me of when we had witherspoon and Lathin...they got a good number of QB hits and put serious pressure from the midfield. We havent had LB who get actual consistent pressure in a long time.
