Remember when Trevor Lawrence was a bust after his rookie year? They went 3-14 and he had a lot of very pedestrian games just like Bryce is currently having. One exception was his first game where he had 300 yards 3 tds and 3 int. It was his only 300 yard game of the year so it was more of an outlier for him. It was also only 1 of 2 games in which he threw more than 1 TD pass. The 2nd game being the last game of the season

Obviously the main difference here is that his HC was fired after year 1 (could the same happen here? I doubt it). I really think they just need time. Let them (the team) take their lumps this year and hopefully next year we can have a similar year two that Jacksonville experienced with Trevor.

    Thats not the obvious difference.

To check out, to quit, to find a new team, whatever you prefer.

We hired a retread, shitty coach who thinks 1950s offense is innovative and cutting edge.

We just watched a team up 15 points with 4 minutes in a game left go for a two-point conversion, the QB run backwards 20 yards and then throw it from the numbers on one side of the field to past the numbers on the opposite side of the field into the endzone, and they converted it with two defenders on that receiver.

I always say, I constantly see crazy poo happen to us that I've never seen in any other game or happen to any other team but us...  file that two-point conversion under that category.

And yes, we saw the receivers are solid and functional with Dalton, but regardless of what happens with Bryce, the coaching and playcalling under Reich is complete and utter ass.  So if we're stuck with Reich, Bryce is fighting an uphill battle regardless of how his skills and ability would project on their own.

Today is a very sad day of realizations.  We fuged up big time and we're in a deep, deep hole.  This isn't just some regular old rebuild...  we are in a bad way.

    Im stayin'

I've said repeatedly, we either should've taken Stroud or Richardson, which would've taken less capital to move up for if we were determined to get a QB this draft, or just sign a guy like Carr or Brissett and then play the year out and trade up next draft for Williams, Maye, Sanders, etc.

But nope. Just mortgaged and nuked the present and the future all at once.

Lol...you stay at 9 ..take bpa build from there with all your picks this yr and next year.

    My take hasnt changed.

I often find myself wondering why I still watch...this team hasn't had an identity for years. We started to have one at the end of last season when Wilks took over. We still had our share of blunders, but I could get behind the "attitude" of the team.

I feel like I'm just clinging on to hoping Cam, Luke and crew are going to come out of the tunnel again some day lol.

Because you are a Panther fan...thats why

Yeah they’re going to have a top 5 pick of their own and potentially another top 10 from us

A very similar situation they gave to the Giants when trading up for Fields

For all the King Poles crap I’ve seen on Twitter the last few months I’d love for them to miss out on the QB’s and for Bryce, Stroud and AR to ball out. That fan base deserves it

    Potentially top 5...maybe #1...without tanking.
