Except in September Strong will be on the active roster of an NFl team and in the mix for a top 3 receiver on the depth chart.
I see loads of opportunity in Hill but he needs to show something.
yeah, well besides that...

Exactly. Jerry would get destroyed in the media if he drafted DGB after the Hardy fiasco happened last year. There is a 0% chance he lets that happen. That decision is above Gettlemans head.
we would get destroyed but the Pats would be hailed as the innovators who take a chance and that's why they are champs.

I've already said I wouldn't draft Conley at all.
that doesn't answer the question, I don't care if you would that is not what this thread is about, who would you draft that was the question. critiquing is easy give me a late rd wr gem .
-
If he had good hands and football skills with his measurables he'd have a lot better college production. The guy's hands looked allergic to leather at the combine in drills. Dropping everything.
but he didn't drop everything in the games he played , he pretty much caught everything. his college production had more to do with Gurley than drops. He has good hands , he has good skills just played in a run happy offense but the projection obviously is he will be a better NFL wr than he was in college. so no he is not just a "track" guy but a late rd gem. So who is your guy/guys of similar rd projection?
-
If it was a track and field event, he'd be a top 10 pick. Unfortunately the guy couldn't catch a cold if he was sitting naked in the arctic.
then you really know nothing about Chris Conley who has good hands and catches the ball away from his body the way good receivers do. Catching the ball is not an issue with him. so do some DD before you judge by a 40 time. His weaknesses are mainly technique issues and strength but those can easily be remedied. Soft hands , smart and fast. He will be a good WR in the NFL.

I like Chris Conley as a late rd pick. I think he will rate quite high in the re-draft.

Give me a guy that runs a 3.85 40 and with elite hands and route running along with being 6'7".
that would be in the TE thread.

it is a very good question and topic. an updated version of "The Millionaire".

So to you compulsive thread makers who make 5 threads a day, do you guys have jobs or a hobby or some activity you enjoy it is it just wake up drink coffee post stream of conciousness on carolinahuddle

I could frame it with a question my mom always used to ask.
If you have to cheat, are you really that good?
it wasn't cheating.

A question popped into my head today, a pie question that has never been asked on the huddle before.
I wondered to myself....
If the overall deliciousness of a pie is 100% ... what percentage is credited to the crust?
In short, how important is a pie crust to you in overall pie appeal?
no crust = no pie.

back to back conf champs makes him a great coach...

Comp. picks cannot be traded.
this is good news.
-
yeah, nominated!Whatever happened to predictability?
-
that would only make sense if we bypassed a Heel in the first that all of us wanted.which is not the case.a ton of butthurt tar heel fans hated the pick too
every other thread slamming it was made by somebody with a username that contained "unc" or "heel"

this was fun last year. I wasted time for hours after hours. I came to the realization that I would suck as a GM.
you may well suck as a gm but that site should not be your basis for the conclusion.

So let me get this straight it was ALL coincidence that 70% of mock drafts in 2013 had us picking a DT and we ended drafting a DT, and it was ALL coincidence that 80% of all mock drafted had us picking a WR last year and we drafted a WR.
Nothing to do with need?
that's why the hedging of "BPA according to need". BPA is inherent in the picks, if they didn't think it was the best pick they wouldn't do it.
-
If you would have polled draft experts last year as to what our biggest need was, the universal answer would have been left tackle.
By the time our pick came up, all of the tackles worth taking in the first round we're already gone.
If we didn't follow a BPA philosophy, we would have taken the best remaining tackle anyway, even though it would have meant using our first round pick on a lesser talent.
So basically, we'd have passed over Kelvin Benjamin for Morgan Moses or Cyrus Kouandijo.
That is why you draft BPA.
that doesn't excuse not drafting a OT at all as there was still talent available and the result was we pretty much sucked at OT the whole year.
