If Caleb is as legit as the board talks who’s gonna trade down with a team that could be picking 15-20. That would cost us more picks than we’d have at that point.

Maye has as many question marks as a Young or Stroud and you have no idea what a year of tape does to either of these guys and after that you are in crapshoot territory again.

Strike while you are in position. A year of tape just gives the talking heads more flaws to dissect decent chance this time next year the class isn’t quite as rosy.

    Chicago...

I believe the Bears will stay put and go defense, while the Texans should be rolling with Young.

We should be focusing on trading up with the Cardinals at #3. It should only take #9, one of our 2nd's and a 2024 1st. We've traded with AZ already this year. The Bears will simply want too much and it would be unnecessary IMO.

Stroud or Levis will be available and the Panthers can roll with whoever they believe is their guy.

After the press conference yesterday, Reich and Fitterer's comments...I think we're trading up for sure.

Hopefully they believe neither are their guy.Maybe Williams or Maye is their guy.Id much rather trade back than up.

Reich wont attach himself to damaged goods in a "I can fix him" deal again.  Hes starting fresh.  Expect Carolina to throw the farm at Chicago for the first pick For Bryce Young.  Guessing 2023 first, 2024 first, 2023 3rd, and a player.

Then why not strengthen the team this yr and throw the farm at much better prospects next season ? 1 yr isnt too long to wait for a legit franchise QB.

Yeah lets just wait next year when we have the #9 pick again because we signed some vet QB like Jimmy G or Carr who takes us nowhere but mediocrity.

What is with this fanbase and waiting for QB's?

At some point you have to trade up to get your franchise QB. Waiting solves nothing.

Has to one to tradeb up for. The air is rife wth desperation

Team grabs Aaron Rodgers for a one year deal. This allows an offensive head coach with other offensive pieces to ease into a new team. This also allows you the luxury of drafting Anthony Richardson out of Florida and sitting him behind a hall of famer for a year with no pressure, knowing Rodgers is a one year rental before he rides off into the sunset. There are worse scenarios for a draft pick with a rocket arm and questionable decision making to end up than a Rodgers understudy and Reich as head coach. Draft a young stud running back in the second round and committee him with a vet.

Drafting AR is desperation w/ or w/o Rodgers.

College tape is irrelevant.  Zak Wilson had great college tape.  Kyle Trask had great college tape.  Etc.

I'm sure Corral will get his chance, but I'll be shocked if he ends up starting next September.  I certainly wouldn't stake my season on Matt Corral as QB1 were I the head coach or GM.

lol...like all these coming out...great tape is meaningless. None worth the cost to move up and  none worth the 9th pick.

Well with Stroud you get a young man who has not only shown he can lift your franchise on the field, he’s shown his character is outstanding, and he’s someone that can lead outside in the community.

Winning is good, but as a franchise we don’t know much about that. We’ve had our flashes, but that’s all it is; flashes.

Yes, he is a high Character person so that is a plus for him.

This is a losing franchise. We have more losses than wins in our history, and have never had back to back winning seasons. All you fans and this “winning mentality” hasn’t done the franchise any good.

Hopefully, the front office is ready to do something different than what they’ve been doing since this ownership has been involved.

Winning is always good.Character is always good.
