If it's true, it's very sad. I have to believe something was done. Maybe not in the time frame or to the extent that he expected, but something had to have been done.

I wouldn't think so, but I have to choose which one I believe happened. I believe the Panthers did reach out to him. Maybe they didn't reach out to him as much as he thought they should, but there is no chance that they completely ignored the death of his mother.

Considering they manhandled the Colts, I don't think this mattered much. That being said, if this is true, it certainly helps to perpetuate the narrative that they are cheaters. It'll also cause me to assume that they're probably always doing something that they shouldn't be.
