god sanjay, so ridiculous. this specific formation gives me nightmares
-
you win, I'm gonna go drop $1000 on TWO sunday ticket subscriptions
-
I mean, maybe but it’s out of market viewers only and they certainly make the bulk of their $ from national games anyways. They won’t agree to it because fans will still just pay the $400 for the full package as there are no other options.
-
They have every right to charge that and if people will pay it so be it but from my perspective it is horribly overpriced. I get NBA and NHL packages combined for $120 a year through xfinity (like 150 games of the Canes and Hornets + other teams, compared to 15-16 Panthers games)… less than $1 per game. NFL is like $25 a game for home team. Not to mention I hate streaming and to not even have a cable option for NFL like I do NBA and NHL (well most games, some are steaming exclusive now which sucks too) pisses me off
-
Frankly it’s all a massive rip off. I should be able to get only Panthers games for like $50 a year
-
Sure but Allen was undrafted and neither is really a legit backup QB that makes you even remotely comfortable if your starter goes down. Of course there aren’t 32 backups that would make one comfortable but there are some guys like Foles out there who are legit. Journeyman low end back up QB is fine for a 5th rounder but personally if I knew that’s what I was getting I’d rather take a shot on another position who could have potential to start or be a rotational player.
-
No he sucked too. Kyle Allen 2.0
-
Can’t help but laugh at the people here who thought Howell was a legit NFL QB because of a few decent outings in Washington. Dude sucks ass
-
4 wins, Canales fired, Tepper rinse and repeat the cycle of suck. And I’m generally an optimist…
-
With 1 more game but yeah hopefully Canales is better, obviously Rhule sucked. Better than Reich though and jury out on DC. Of course Wilks’ interim stint was the best we’ve had since 2017 but I give Tepper zero credit for that

BREAKiNG NEWS: Panthers interested in trading for Trey Hendrickson
t96 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I do. -
Seems like overall a very very good day. Don't want to get my hopes up though as we know how this story goes...
-
Well the rest of the league agrees on center being pretty unimportant... https://sports.yahoo.com/article/salary-cap-evolution-pay-nfl-211159279.html
-
I don't think anyone wants to move on from him lol, we're going based on what we've seen from a full NFL season where XL looked even worse than Funchess or LaFell looked their rookie years. Of course he can develop and get better and hopefully he does. But from everything I saw last year and this offseason so far, Coker is a better player at present.
-
Sure I'm well aware of where we ranked last year. But our offensive ranking last year is not indicative of the argument I'm making being wrong as our ranking takes into account all of the following, none of which are relevant to my argument: - QB - Coaching - Lack of a top 10 pick WR last year - Trend from latter half of the year I don't think our offense will necessarily be top half of the league this season -- I'm not sold on Bryce or Canales' coaching yet. Far from it on both counts. But I do think on paper, unless Tet is a massive bust (possible, but unlikely IMO), that our offensive roster not counting QB is top half of the league. I know many are kinda down on Icky, I'm not personally but I do get it. I like Icky better than most and think our tackle duo is top 15ish at least, guard combo is top 5. Center is a relative weakness, yes, but it's also by far the least important position on the OL. We have the highest paid OL in the league, it's fair to expect them to not have those weaknesses mentioned but looking league wide I still find it to be quite comfortably top 10 in the league. Again, this is roster/talent we're looking at too, not production. I think our QB play last year made the OL look worse than it actually is, especially in pass pro. Even in his "resurgence" I don't think Bryce did a good job of navigating the pocket or OL coverage at all.
-
Our offensive line is all proven and it’s easily top 10 in the league. 2 legit RBs, wide receiver depth with upside and a recent top 10 pick as WR1. I don’t think it’s controversial to say that overall our offense outside of QB is top half of the league. D drags down the roster of course, but I think it drags the team down into the low-ish 20s, not worst in the league. At the end of the day it’s purely subjective so there’s really not much point in arguing back and forth. Well see how the season turns out soon enough
-
I actually am not so sure about 32nd ranked roster, we do have a ton of talent on offense outside of QB (granted, young and "unproven") and while the D has a ton of holes we do have a few potential superstars there to build around in Brown and Horn. I think our roster minus Bryce is like 18-23ish league-wide. Including QB in the equation may drop it a bit, but admittedly I am very low on Bryce.
-
Completely fair until we see some actual results under Tepper

Evero?!?! Should he be on the Hot Seat
t96 replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
He’s such an overrated coach and I hate the 3-4 and wanted him gone with Reich. So yeah I’d say he should be on the hot seat -
You don’t help yourself posting a picture of ai overview as your source but yeah from watching Evans play plenty over the years he’s no Larry Fitz or Jason Avant when it comes to catching.
-
Are we really anointing Deion’s kid now based on reps against our 2s??? Lol
-
I only watched bits and pieces but did Sanders even play??? edit: JT, to be clear
-
Coker is gonna surprise people this year. Could see like 800+ yards and surpassing XL in playing time the 2nd half of the season.
