  1. honestly forgot OBJ was healthy and playing this year... did he do anything week 1?
  2. I liked Jordan Love a lot in that draft, glad to see him doing well in GB after having to sit behind Rodgers for so long. Obviously still insanely early but if he does turn out to be a franchise QB that is such a ridiculous string of starting QBs in GB, Favre for 16, Rodgers for 15 then straight to another franchise QB without a single stopgap in between (outside of guys filling in due to injury).
  3. Mahomes and the Chiefs will be completely fine.
  4. To be fair many were saying that well before this season started, I don't view that as a reactionary opinion. I'm hopeful with Reich but had plenty of concerns about him even before we hired him.
  5. Minshew really is a starter man, not sure his contract situation but he should get a chance to be a team's main starter again, not competing with a top 5 pick in Indy/backup
  6. I'm jealous of their Steichen hire. What he has done with Herbert and Hurts is just ridiculous, 2 way different style QBs with different skills and he brought out the absolute best in both.
  7. AR15 already hurt again lol, and people thought Bryce wouldn't hold up
  8. When did Reich say he’s out for the year?
  9. He's barely done anything as a passer to contribute to his team winning this year, and the running as we know from Cam isn't sustainable. If not for their elite OL and run game and D they'd be trash and he couldn't do anything about it. He's paid like a Mahomes but is nowhere near that level. Eagles would likely be 0-2 right now also if it weren't for their opponents shooting themselves in the foot multiple times each game with horrible giveaways (some earned by Eagles D but several not). We'll see how the rest of this year and the next few years go but Hurts to my eyes is not a legit franchise QB worthy of getting the contract he got. When all the support around him falls off due to the impending cap crunch that team will really really struggle. Maybe I'm wrong but we'll see
  10. this thread would be like making a thread after trading Jaycee Horn for a 4th after he misses this season and then he has 1 game with his new team where he has a couple picks and everyone is whining and complaining about giving him away for nothing. Swift was always talented but his health is the issue, it was always something with him where even if he was playing he was banged up and limited and couldn't handle a full load. Let's see how he holds up.
  11. truer words have never been spoken
  12. He dominated in his era and would dominate in any era. One of the most underrated WRs ever. Put up the 8th most career receiving yards (and probably could've gotten to top 3 if he wanted to keep playing) and that was despite mostly having pretty bad QB play and always playing in a run first offense focused more on D and ball control to win games. It's a joke that he wasn't first ballot HoF
  13. He’s not a great player but not nearly as bad as the consensus here thinks he is…
  14. so at least 3 more games without both, f*ckkkkkkkk
  15. when is Corbett eligible to return? Are we going to be down both our starting Gs for the next 4 weeks? Damn that would suck but at least Zavala looks legit.
  16. I recall a really cool article on him and liking him a lot but don't remember any of the details. Not much as far as expectations coming off those injuries and signing at this point in the season but would be cool.
  17. I mean they aren't really comparable at all lol Bates got like 3x as much guaranteed and twice as much per year as Bell, wasn't like we chose 1 over the other, we were never in the market for a top paid safety
  18. And that would 100% do it, and quickly too. Owners would cave so fast as even a week of lost profits due to a full on players strike would probably wipe out a significant amount of the cost savings for using turf over grass. NFLPA should get serious about this, all talk so far.
  19. Watching in person was tougher to tell but I also thought Ickey looked way better than he did in the preseason, more like he looked last year. OL was mostly very solid, the issue was playcalling, wideouts not getting open, rookie QB and becoming predictable playing from behind (and with bad field position for various reasons *refs*)
  20. Yep 100%. Also Colts and Aints each only getting 1 out of their HOF QBs is pathetic to me. The head coaches and supporting casts those 3 QBs had throughout their careers was just a joke overall.
