  1. Same thought crossed my mind. I don’t want to give up Burns at all but if we do in a Watson trade I’ll feel a bit better about it having Reddick here now than if we didn’t sign him.
  2. This seemed inevitable. Awesome signing!
  3. $2.1m for him seems fair, I won’t blame him one bit if he leaves if we won’t even offer that much.
  4. The sexual harassment stuff that just popped up will also likely make it take longer. We (or any other team) aren’t giving up a crap ton for him with that hanging over his head and potential NFL discipline. I don’t think he gets traded until that is sorted out, which could be before the draft but who knows.
  5. Burns is worth 2 first rounders for sure. Brown worth a top 10 pick or more. So that’s 2 top 10 picks and 4 other first rounders. Can only laugh at that.
  6. Wouldn’t want to give up that much but there’s no doubt he’d be a big add to our biggest position of need. Would probably be at the very least Monk or Graham, 2021 first rounder, Zeller. Not sure I want to pay that price for him honestly and that would still probably require an add from us.
  7. They’ve lost a lot of really good players, including a hall of fame QB, and have a ton of dead cap coming up. They’re not going to be contending any time soon.
  8. Yep Watson will look at that and say “awesome! Taylor is gonna help this team get back on the right track while sitting on the bench behind me, now I’ll come back to the team and play!”
  9. Not exactly but I do recall TD saying several times that he’d never play anywhere but Carolina then he went to the Chargers and the Skins...
  10. Not relevant. They used a relatively significant amount of cap space on another QB. Watson will not be happy about that at all.
  11. Damn fug that. That makes me angry, he’s probably gonna put up 10 TDs there
  12. You do realize them using this much cap space on a QB will piss off Watson even more and make it more likely that he’ll cement himself further in his stance of never playing for the team again? If the Texans were convinced they could wait Watson out or still try to make amends with him they would not do this deal, they’d look to improve the roster around him. He’s as good as gone, just a matter of time and how ugly it gets.
  13. Yeah Texans clearly see the writing on the wall with Watson. This signing will also only just piss him off more and further cement his position. He’s getting traded before the draft, is my guess
  14. Too late, they’ve already spent all their money lol. Either Jags or returning to Carolina on a 1-3 year deal is my guess.
  15. If he does leave I’d love for him to go to JAX. Would be fun watching him in that offense with Lawrence.
  16. They just moved cap hit from this year to spread out over the 4 years after that. It is literally kicking the can down the road. The “$140M” is completely meaningless, that pretty much all voids and won’t count.
  17. How so? He was overpaid and now they’ll have dead cap for 4 more years because of it...
  18. That was one of those trades where everyone lost...
  19. I would be happy with Lance at 8. I prefer that to trading up for Wilson, but my ideal draft QB is Fields, however we get him.
  20. Cam never had a fully healthy year with DJ Moore. The 1 year he had with McC and Samuel, both barely played because Rivera
  21. Well, the "smartest coach in the NHL" is also a very questionable GM at times, so it might not tell us what he thinks it tells us...
  22. We already have DJ Moore...
  23. He’s better but age factors in too, same with Rodgers though. Only QB I’m taking over Watson right now is Mahomes. Herbert’s pretty close but still a small sample size.
