It shifts between the Falcons and Aints. Bucs bought a championship congrats to them but they're still a dumpster fire and will be again shortly so I don't care too much about them. Seahawks were easily our biggest rival outside of the division for a while there as it seemed like we played them every single year and we met in the playoffs a couple times, but still don't think they were more of a rival than Aints or Falcons.

Well, he did lose us games. That first Bucs game is a win if not for that trash performance from him.

The thing is Otah was actually a complete beast when he was on the field. If he could've stayed healthy he'd easily be a franchise tackle. That one's not on Hurney. Little has had injury issues AND when he's played he hasn't been good.

Stanley Cup Playoffs: Carolina Hurricanes Game Thread
t96 replied to Harbingers's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, not scared of Boston's team at all, their team isn't that good any more, we've become significantly better this season with our forward depth and then most importantly Ned has stepped up as a borderline elite goalie right now. But the refs being in Boston's pocket definitely make it a series I'd like to avoid. Although that also goes for the Penguins, Leafs, etc. If we can beat the Lightning next round, it would be nice to have another Islanders matchup... -
Such a bummer. Oh well, at least there will be more money in Tepper's wallet

Let’s go Canes -
Was there ever a Texas Tech QB who started in the NFL before Mahomes? None of the other Ohio State QBs have anything to do with Fields.

dude he straight up tried to murder odell, I don't know how he's not in prison

Lol against the Jets in a meaningless game, congrats. He'll get beat out by Mac Jones well before week 9. It sucks man but Cam is completely washed up. Should've retired a Panther last year before going to the hell-hole that is NE.
-
If the price is reduced significantly because of his off field troubles then I'd take a chance on him. Wouldn't be comfortable giving up more than like 2 first rounders (which would be late first if we had him with this roster) at this point though, that's just too much risk for him even if he is "cleared."
-
Yeah and it's pretty fuged up regardless. If he's innocent it's fuged up that he's essentially forced to pay because the alternative of fighting it is a long process with no guarantees that he'll actually be found innocent as it's a he said she said case. And if he's guilty it's fuged up that these victims would just accept money to let him walk free. fuged up all around.

Yeah because his games against Atlanta were so great

The Carolinas getting a team may cause me to watch a few games a year and playoffs... Would be great for the area but for me personally I really don’t care for baseball at all so it wouldn’t affect my life at all.

Awesome news, would love to go to camp there one last time.

What if Mac Jones and Trevor Lawrence switched hair styles?

Jones straight up looks like a female... -
Pep, yes because he left. No one has worn 89 or 59 since those 2 retired either...
-
We'd be immediate SB favorites with Rodgers (giving up only future assets and no current roster players). I'd take him here in a heartbeat.
-
Yeah clearly that's assumed, my point wasn't about JJ but about Shaq being the only player left from our SB run... Unless I'm completely blanking on someone else (or if Tre or KK are brought back...) pretty sure it's just Shaq and JJ right now and we know JJ will be gone, so just Shaq.
-
Is Shaq the only player left on the team from 2015 if JJ retires/is cut?
-
We were tied for 25th or so last year, haven't really lost much and gained a ton in FA and the draft... Darnold is the question mark but even if he sucks I think we're good enough to be in the middle of the pack... If he can turn his career around we're a playoff team easily. Glad people are sleeping on us.

Time to stop looking forward and start watching our a$$

I'm ok with a play-in round no matter what the outcome winds up being. We'll always wonder what could have been if not for the injuries this year but it is what it is. We either win in the play-in round and make the playoffs which will give our young guys some important playoff experience even if there's no realistic chance we'd beat the Nets or Sixers or we lose in the play-in round and hopefully get another high pick for Mitch to hit on giving us some more young talent here. Either way I think our future is extremely bright, with a chance to actually make some noise in the playoffs as soon as next year.
