I don't follow college ball super closely, but I would think if that other guy starts playing poorly, which is a reasonable possibility, that Rattler could get his job back and start to improve his stock, no? If he doesn't get his job back and leaves college where do you think he'd be taken based on his previous success?

He's eligible to return week 7 I believe, so could be next week.

Could we get Rattler in the 2nd round and sit him a year while we're stuck with Darnold's 5th year option? Or do people think he'll bounce back this year and improve his draft stock?

Hard to fathom the people here losing their sh*t because a 6th round rookie who is overweight wasn't starting. Yes our starters on the OL suck but I completely trust Rhule that Brown isn't better. This isn't Rivera, Rhule has played young talent over veterans. There was always a reason Brown wasn't playing, and apparently a pretty good one if he can't even make it through practice. Also, those calling this a wasted pick are also outrageous. Plenty of time for him to develop into a contributor for us. Large large large majority of 6th round picks are out of the league within a few years anyways and those that do make it don't contribute for several years.

This time the other team shoots themselves in the foot and we win. 24-20 good guys. We get a game winning pick 6 with less than 5 minutes remaining, defense holds in the end. Offense is still ugly with or without McCaffrey.

That's not what he's saying, he's saying there's nothing we can do about it. He references "young talent" getting better and gelling better throughout a season. We don't have young talent on the OL. We have a few young players but they haven't shown to be very talented and don't have much pedigree.

I think the Huddle is giving Robby way too much sh(t. He's had some bad drops but also just isn't getting utilized well at all by Brady/Sam. Maybe partly due to OL but that's not all of it.

Defense has been meeting their expectations. Offense has not. Regardless of whether defense's expectations are higher or not (they are and should be).

It was a loser move but whatever, he scored they won he can do whatever he wants. He sucks though and won't amount to anything in this league. let him enjoy scoring while he can

Screw the excuses. The Eagles won a SB without their MVP-favorite QB. If they can do that then we can overcome a couple OL and RB injuries against a crappy team.

2013 and 2015 were both top 10 OLs, I'd say 2017 was around average (WAY better than this year's line). All the other years with Cam it was below average. Cam's mobility definitely helped the OL although I think in 2017 his mobility/speed had declined quite a bit from his early career. That line was definitely pretty solid overall. It at least wasn't a weakness. WR was our biggest weakness that year and really the only reason we didn't beat the Aints in the playoffs.

The roster may be ahead of schedule but coaching seems to be lagging quite a bit. Joe Brady may not be it and Rhule still has plenty of boneheaded stretches. The 3rd quarter of every single game this season has been flat out unacceptable.

Dude you need to drop it, Cam's arm is hanging on by threads and he sucks now. There's a reason no team in the league wants him at this point. And it's not the vaccine, if he was as good as you say teams wouldn't care about that. It's really a shame how his career ended due to injuries but it's the reality.
