This time the other team shoots themselves in the foot and we win. 24-20 good guys. We get a game winning pick 6 with less than 5 minutes remaining, defense holds in the end. Offense is still ugly with or without McCaffrey.

Former 2x Super Bowl winning player personnel guy on Panthers OL
t96 replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's not what he's saying, he's saying there's nothing we can do about it. He references "young talent" getting better and gelling better throughout a season. We don't have young talent on the OL. We have a few young players but they haven't shown to be very talented and don't have much pedigree. -
it's 1 preseason game who cares. The Hornets are still an exciting young team with a bright future and have a good chance to be a playoff team this year

Was Rhule Blaming the Defense or Acknowledging Something Else**
t96 replied to SetfreexX's topic in Carolina Panthers
Defense has been meeting their expectations. Offense has not. Regardless of whether defense's expectations are higher or not (they are and should be). -
Also they are on bye and their real starting kicker Lutz is expected back after the bye. Let’s just close the thread now
-
Thread will be locked when they sign some random kicker that isn’t Slye

Kap fans don't realize that he was hated by several fanbases well before any of the kneeling stuff. I don't even care about that but I still hate the guy and Jim Harbaugh with a passion. fug them. Packers and Seahawks fans I'm sure feel the same
-
It was a loser move but whatever, he scored they won he can do whatever he wants. He sucks though and won't amount to anything in this league. let him enjoy scoring while he can

If any of these things are true, we win the game yesterday

Screw the excuses. The Eagles won a SB without their MVP-favorite QB. If they can do that then we can overcome a couple OL and RB injuries against a crappy team. -
2013 and 2015 were both top 10 OLs, I'd say 2017 was around average (WAY better than this year's line). All the other years with Cam it was below average. Cam's mobility definitely helped the OL although I think in 2017 his mobility/speed had declined quite a bit from his early career. That line was definitely pretty solid overall. It at least wasn't a weakness. WR was our biggest weakness that year and really the only reason we didn't beat the Aints in the playoffs.

The roster may be ahead of schedule but coaching seems to be lagging quite a bit. Joe Brady may not be it and Rhule still has plenty of boneheaded stretches. The 3rd quarter of every single game this season has been flat out unacceptable.
-
Dude you need to drop it, Cam's arm is hanging on by threads and he sucks now. There's a reason no team in the league wants him at this point. And it's not the vaccine, if he was as good as you say teams wouldn't care about that. It's really a shame how his career ended due to injuries but it's the reality.

Yeah it was pitiful. It was louder when our O was on the field. Literally the only thing the fanbase can control, we didn't. And I do think it contributed to the Eagles gaining momentum later in the 4th quarter as Eagles fans got louder. Maybe we deserve a shitty team?
-
Dude come on, he's worthless as a blocker.
-
Arnold didn't really do much when he was here, I don't think he changes anything today if we still had him.
-
Zane Gonzalez was very good
-
About as bad as it could possibly get today but I'm not ready to write off the season yet. Schedule is still easy and we will get some reinforcements in McCaffrey and Gilmore. Rhule and Brady gonna have to get their heads out of their asses though
-
Second half was a disaster but the thread title isn't true
-
Trade Gilmore to the Chiefs or Packers now for a 5th round pick.
-
LOL Sanders is a complete fool.
-
Ok I've seen enough, that may actually be the turning point of the season. 6-11 here we come. Absolutely putrid.
-
Damn impressive play by Sam and Robby. Finally showed up when it mattered.
-
LOL that sums up this Panthers team. Easy sack right there for the taking on a 2 point conversion, NOPE runs around a bit and find a guy wide open for 2 to go up 3.
