Important to note the last time this happened in the NFL was in Dallas with Josh Brent and Jerry Brown. Brent was driving impaired and teammate Brown died. Texas had the same minimum of 2 years but Brent wound up only doing 180 days. He was suspended by the league for 10 games and the Cowboys even played him again after the incident. They are well coached as always but have literally zero true threats on offense and their defense is average at best. All of their games except the Jets games have been close. I expect that trend to continue against us too. I'm a bit surprised he didn't deal with something like this sooner. Guy has been getting worked into the ground as much as or more than Cam or McCaffrey ever did here. Had been an iron man but that's rare for RBs, even a guy as massive and strong as he is. N/A Even if they signed him and made the playoffs he will not be "leading" them to the playoffs. They're already 5-2 and have gotten to that point with poor QB play. Their D and Sean Payton are the only reason they're any good.
