  1. I hate this league so much they don’t let defenders so much as look at QBs the wrong way but a WR can rip a DB out of the play by his face mask and get a touchdown. What a joke. Going back to watch the olympics
  2. We got cheated out of that Super Bowl win and ruining that epic underdog season.
  3. Yeah I can't see any possible way he winds up as majority owner of the Broncos. Involved in a group with someone else behind the scenes as majority owner but Byron basically running the team is more likely. Odds are though that some richer billionaire just buys it outright like Tepper did, there will be no shortage of suitors. Bezos may be one...
  4. Wilks is and will be great in this role. He was great under McD/Rivera with limited talent in the secondary. Not a great defensive play caller (although he has very little experience in that role) or HC but in this position this is a phenomenal add.
  5. When will we learn. Players across all sports leagues do this all the time for various reasons and it rarely means anything at all.
  6. Was replying directly to points about age and not doing anything in college until year 5, both of which are the same with Burrow and Pickett. Obviously Burrow was a much better prospect.
  7. Yeah, teams get too committed to QBs they draft high, I can kind of see it because of Josh Allen's success in year 3 but that's a rarity. If you don't have a QB you gotta keep drafting them high and if they suck for 1-2 years cut your losses and move on and draft another one high just like the Cardinals did. I'm not a fan of this QB class at all and don't love Pickett but I love the idea of committing to finding a franchise QB in the draft even if that starts with this year and a weak QB class. That's the only way to do it, and hopefully we've learned it after the last 2 years of failing with Sam and Teddy. Still fear we're gonna take a LB or CB or something in round 1. OT is another good option but I can't complain about going for any QB even if I don't love him as a prospect. We just badly need to figure out the QB position asap.
  8. Bengals could've said the exact same thing and not taken Burrow because of that
  9. By young I mean in NFL experience, he will be a rookie, don't care about the age, point is he'll be an unknown in the NFL with true upside. Our other QBs except for Cam have been unknowns without much upside (Allen, Heinicke, Grier, PJ) or known quantities who have proven to suck in this league (Teddy, Sam).
  10. I'm cool with taking a shot on him ideally trading down a bit but at least we'd have an exciting young QB prospect who can actually potentially develop here for the first time since Cam. Yes like others I don't trust this staff to do it but at least it's not another trash retread QB option like Teddy/Sam.
  11. So basically, the Vikings passed up on a rare opportunity to lure a proven successful HC back to the NFL because some kid sold them on keeping Kirk Cousins and contending immediately... LOL Good luck with that. As bad as the Panthers have been run, the Vikings are right down there with us.
  12. I thought he showed good adjustments with their offense this year, how much of that was Reid who knows but another Reid disciple in Pederson won a Super Bowl. I don't really want Bieniemy all that much but he's the best of what's realistically available right now if Rhule were to jump for college at this point in the process. That ship has sailed though with Harbaugh staying in Michigan so it doesn't really matter. I like Flores as well but with him suing the league he's not getting hired so he's not a realistic option.
  13. Exactly, I'm sure we'll still look terrible in the chart including all plays for the entire season, should've just posted that.
  14. And week 18. Plus what does the win prob 10-90% mean? Are they excluding all plays when the win probabilities are outside of that range? If so that makes zero sense.
  15. HIs relationship with their new GM is probably the main reason behind this. I don't see it as an issue from Harbaugh, he's proven himself and isn't getting hired based on interviews at this point, his track record is why he'd get hired. Vikings making a big mistake not hiring him considering he actually wanted to go there. And if he'd be willing to come to Carolina Tepper is an idiot for not trying to hire him too.
  16. There’s still hope we can nab him next year. Good stuff. No chance Rhule would’ve landed the Michigan job anyways
  17. Agree. I'd trade a future mid round pick to get rid of Sam's contract if some team will do that, then sign Armstead, Norwell and Jensen. Let guys like Donte and Gilmore walk. Draft Pickett or whoever we like best at QB in the 1st, ideally with a trade down. I might even aim bigger and go after Scherff. But we need to spend big on proven OL guys, there's a bunch hitting free agency right now. A rookie QB behind a great line with DJ, Robby, McCaffrey (if he can stay healthy) can be a top 10-15 offense.
  18. The more interesting coaching news to come out of Buffalo is that Ken Dorsey was promoted to OC after Daboll was hired away... That dude was terrible with Cam here, has done well with Allen of course. Really curious to see how he does calling plays for McDermott.
  19. Look as much as we want Rhule gone, for it to happen at this point isn't ideal. The best HC candidates are already off the market. Unless we want to revisit Bieniemy, which I'd be 100% for.
  20. None of these QBs this year are great prospects and none would even go in the first round in other drafts, frankly. You absolutely do not need to reach for a QB just because you think one could turn into a franchise QB.
  21. I do like Pickett but the value isn't great at our pick. Would love to trade down and pick up a 2nd rounder + more and then take Pickett later in the 1st so we can go OL in the 2nd. But at 6 I'm not so sure about him.
  22. People will still call them the Redskins
