  1. I still would've preferred Harbaugh and I would've preferred a younger offensive mind, but I'm happy with Reich and more excited than I've been in several years so I guess I'd say I'm "on board." I'm not sure he brings us a Super Bowl win which is the ultimate goal but he definitely brings us much closer to relevance and some sustained success/playoff appearances. I'm hopeful 2 years from now we can finally say we've had back to back winning seasons.
  2. Love it. Basically polar opposite to Rhule's approach, which is good. I'm taking it slow with hyping up the team and our prospects this season just based on assistant coaches but I can't find anything to complain about with Reich's staff so far. Now let's get us Carr for the near future, Stroud/Young/Levis for the mid/long term, fill some of the other gaps in free agency. NFCS is so wide open if we can do that we could dominate the division for years to come.
  3. Possibly unpopular opinion but I just don't care at all about announcers these days, I don't think any of them are good and I rarely pay any attention to what they have to say. Sometimes even mute them. This is for all sports not just football. Very happy for Greg, it's great he's getting positive recognition and carving out a nice post-NFL career for himself. But I just don't care any more for his announcing than any of the others. My favorite "commentating" the last 2 years has actually been the MNF Manningcast. They're not trying to call the game or have the rehearsed over the top hype for random stuff for both teams, just 2 goofy dudes who know a crap ton about the sport and have great brotherly banter and interesting guests on the show. Not trying to appease networks or make a boring game seem great or a great game seem greater than it really is.
  4. I don't know about a specific ranking of these guys but I think Lawrence is going to take massive strides as he gets some legit weapons and have a similar early career arc to Peyton Manning. Not quite to Peyton's level of all time great, but to being the best of this bunch of QBs. All of these guys have things I like about them and things I question. Herbert has the tools and has shown some seriously elite throwing ability, but he's trended downward (decent weapons not amazing and doesn't seem like coaching is helping him any). Burrow is great but aided a ton by his elite receivers and solid coaching. Allen puts the team on his back a bit more than these others but he's still pretty inconsistent, some weeks looking like the best QB in the game and other weeks looking like a scrub who shouldn't even be starting. His play style also worries me like Cam's did. Lamar is electric as a runner and a solid passer but big injury concerns and how good of a passer he really is can only be determined when he gets some weapons and a coaching staff that knows how to run a passing offense. Hurts was amazing this year but also aided by elite weapons and coaching, not sure how much of it is him and not sure how long he can hold up running like that. Tua -- concussions a big concern now and before this year he wasn't very good. Had a very solid season but with elite weapons and in a well coached passing offense. I would gladly take any of them compared to what we've had since Cam's health fell apart, but Lawrence would be my #1 choice, probably with Herbert 2nd then Burrow/Allen. Lamar/Hurts/Tua in a lower tier. Can't even begin to compare any of them to Stroud/Young without those guys having played in the NFL yet. I would easily pick any of the established guys over these 2 (not taking into account a theoretical acquisition cost/contract. If taking that into account I prefer to trade up for a QB than trade for Lamar and give him a massive contract. The other guys surely aren't available anyways). I take Stroud over Young but would be thrilled to get either this draft.
  5. We should've had both those guys for at least a few years. I generally was a DG fan but the debacle with Norman's tag and contract negotiations was an absolute embarrassment and I think big reason for our downfall (prior to Cam's injuries).
  6. No he just has class and takes responsibility. Mad respect for James, always liked him here and he'll grow from this. It was a really soft call, but by the book a penalty. He understands that and isn't whining and blaming others.
  7. Listening to this Bieniemy interview, I really would love to see us consider him for OC. I liked him over Rhule for HC back a few years ago too. I think he probably needs to get out from under Reid's shadow and have some success elsewhere as an OC to get a HC gig and I think we would be a great spot for that.
  8. Losing the one to the Bucs made it very hard 3 vs 6 would be so much more doable than the 2 vs 7 it is now. How much does Reid have left and can Mahomes win more without Reid? I think Mahomes can overtake Brady as clear GOAT without the rings though… ALL his per game stats are considerably better than Brady’s, playoffs and regular season. In a sport where you have 22 starters and more guys contributing, comparing individuals on team stats is pretty silly.
  9. Ooof Bradberry, always liked him feel bad for him there. Softish call but by the book was a hold.
  10. Mahomes is a God at QB but for them to still be the #1 offense in the league with Kelce and a bunch of random nobody WRs is incredibly impressive for Reid and the coaching staff. A lot of people thought without Hill they wouldn’t do a damn thing. So jealous, but I’m hopeful Reich can bring some of that here.
  11. QB sneaks like that are the most boring play in all of sports
  12. Holy poo, may be tough to overturn. Football move or no?
  13. He didn’t have possession until going to the sideline with just 1 foot down in bounds. Wasn’t even close
  14. There’s no argument whatsoever for this being a catch lol.
  15. I don’t care lol I’m a Panthers fan not an NFL fan if this game is boring and Mahomes hurt I’ll gladly turn it off and do something better with my time.
  16. The ball wasn’t snapped and he got back. The refs have been dogshit tonight, all benefitting Philly
  17. Boring game over. Not gonna bother watching the 2nd half
  18. Refs screwing over the Chiefs hard so far.
  19. Lol that was bad. Big momentum shift. I still think Chiefs needed to go for it on that 4th where they missed the FG, they could be up big right now if they had.
  20. Can’t let him catch that floater lol
  21. Philly is a cool place, it’s got its pros and cons like any place but I enjoyed the time I lived there. I don’t like living in cities though so had to get out ultimately.
  22. I’m glad to be watching a SB where I don’t dislike either team. Not rooting for either as I only root for the Panthers or against teams I hate. But I lived in Philly a few years and liked their fans when I was there. And I like Reid and Mahomes. So cool however it goes as long as it’s an entertaining and enjoyable game. Don’t want to see a blowout. I think the Chiefs will win comfortably though, 2 score game with it not being particularly close. I may be very wrong though.
  23. I think we make a lot of sense for Carr to want to come here. He makes sense for us as a bridge guy but would he be willing to accept that? Would love to sign him over Sam but still need to draft a QB this year, even if we need to trade up.
  24. Ok but he’s not the authority here who has control over the $. Those politicians are pure scum and worse than Favre
