  1. Should've been: Duren and Moose: 2 each (Duren for starting it, Moose for going crazy after lol) Bridges: 3 (1 for defending Moose, 2 for escalating further with Stew) Stewart: 10 (fug that dude, came off the bench, long history already, NBA should've sent a message with double digit games) Oh well, I think we can weather the storm for 4 games. A win tonight would be huge as the next couple after are tough, vs Houston and Cleveland. Last game against the Wizards should be a win even short handed. Then back to full strength and keep the train rolling. Still thinking we get a 7 or 8 seed and win 1 of a potential 2 in the play-ins to make the real playoffs. 6 seed and skipping the play-in entirely is a tough ask. But I do think we are better than Magic, Heat, Hawks and can pass 2 of them before the end of the regular season.
  2. fug the dirty ass pistons and the refs. Tough to lose the streak but incredible showing from the players, the fans and coach Lee. This was a very important game for the development of this young team. The culture has changed. I’m confident the boys can beat the Hawks short handed and get things right back on track after the all star break
  3. I thought 9 already matched it. Never won 10 straight before
  4. Great job closing out this game on the road, it really felt like one that could end our streak. Huge test on Monday against the 1 seed Pistons. Feeling good about it at home!
  5. Wait is it happening now or something? Truly had zero clue and saw no news about it at all despite checking espn and other stuff a fair amount with the nba trade deadline stuff
  6. Ehh, new front office has 2 drafts under their belt -- Salaun draft class was really a horrible class in general, but Salaun has started to show some of his potential and KJ Simpson not bad for a 2nd round pick. This past draft clearly looks like it was knocked out of the fuging park obviously with Kon but also Sion and Kalk already contributing in somewhat big roles for late round picks. And McNeeley has shown potential and lit it up in summer league, seems to be doing well in the G league for a young guy too. As for this season I think a very realistic goal and outcome of the regular season is sneaking up into a 7 or 8 seed and then winning 1 of 2 play-in games to make the real playoffs. Probably get cooked in round 1 but that playoff experience and establishing that expectation of winning is critical to the development of our young core.
  7. Ehh Miller alone makes that a great draft class. Glad we didn’t make the mistake of taking Scoot, as many wanted. MJ’s final parting gift to us
  8. Huge win, I’m completely sold on this team and this core. Kon and Diabate were the last missing pieces along with Miller/Ball health. The defense has improved significantly and the offense is playing amazing team basketball. Had some passing plays that looked like prime Warriors dynasty or Pop Spurs out there which is just so damn fun to watch. Unselfish team basketball. This Hornets season feels a lot like the Hurricanes’ 2018-19 season when they broke a decade long playoff drought. Started the season horribly but went on a run the rest of the season like this January for the Hornets. Haven’t missed the playoffs since then and have won at least a round every year. Hopefully Hornets can follow that same trajectory man.
  9. fuging love this team man, wow what a month of basketball.
  10. Tet and Coker in KC would go for 1500 and 1200 yards respectively, easily
  11. Spygate getting swept under the rug with the evidence of the patriots filming the Rams, ours and Eagles' SB walkthroughs getting destroyed makes the NFL and Goodell a farce and meaningless.
  12. Yeah, I’m a Darnold fan. Can’t say the same about the other QB from that draft we acquired around the same time
  13. Stidham terrible decision, needs to just not fug up and they’ll win but that was a disastrous momentum changing giveaway
  14. I would’ve taken the points there
  15. Broncos absolutely dominating in field position so far.
  16. That was a hell of a sack. Man I wish we had a real pass rush
  17. I mean, Stidham on paper really isn’t a “real backup QB.” Obviously Payton saw something he liked enough to rely on him as a backup but it’s not like Stidham is a former starter who had some success and is known as a top backup (like Foles was when he won with the Eagles).
  18. Yeah I don’t even think Nix is that good. He’s closer to Bryce than he is to a legit franchise QB IMO. But Payton is a wayyy better offensive mind than Canales.
  19. Can’t stand either team but pulling for Denver today. Think we get a rematch of SB XLVIII with Seahawks blowing out the broncos badly again. Pulling for Rams and Stafford to win it all though, Seattle just seems too good and they’re at home. Either way I think NFC takes it this year.
  20. Yeah nobody ever really knows how much of a player ultimately being a success is scouting vs development/coaching. It's always a mix and you need both, and both need to be aligned as players you scout could fit in one coach's system but not fit in others. That's why you need coaching staff and front office to be in lock step.
  21. Yeah I'm super excited about Scourton. I'm just holding back my excitement a bit as I was also incredibly excited about Kony Ealy and that came back to bite me. Hence why I'm "nearly sold" but not "completely sold."
  22. Early returns are great and exciting but also worth noting that Gettleman had a few drafts that looked incredible early on and wound up mostly sucking (2014 mainly). Also PFF; grain of salt, etc. I'm completely sold on Tet being a stud, knocked a high pick out of the park like we needed to and always should. Nearly sold on Scourton. Not sold on Princely but he had flashes. Not sold on Etienne as more than a 3rd stringer and special teamer, but that's not terrible for his draft position. Big fan of Ransom and think he'll be a starter. Cam Jackson : IDK, I see limited upside but we didn't see much of him Evans was a nice find for draft position and he had a great rookie year for a late round rookie TE with plenty of veteran competition. Not sure about his upside though, seems like best case is a long term #2/3 TE, which isn't bad. Jimmy Horn, personally I didn't see a damn thing from him that impressed me all year. And he got a lot of opportunities. Pulling for the kid, but not convinced he's an NFLer. UDFA: Fitzgerald was an amazing find
  23. I think Josh Allen will eventually force his way out of Buffalo, and people will look back at this offseason as the reason why. Will take 2-3 years and I bet he goes west coast (maybe LA to replace Stafford...??) but I don't think he's gonna stay in Buffalo that much longer. Especially if they (predictably) struggle the next year or two.
