  1. Insanely poised in the playoffs for a rookie. Big time throws like they're nothing. He very well could be the first rookie QB to make a SB.
  2. LA but yeah, I think the Rams win tomorrow -- especially now they have a bit of extra motivation to get a home playoff game after the fires moved the one they should've had last week to AZ. I've got Ravens winning then the Chiefs barely scraping by them like last year, and then Rams beating the Commanders as McVay coaches an incredible game and their playoff experience pushes them past Washington. Would be crazy to get the Chiefs-Rams Super Bowl now lol. Back in like 2018 when they had that absurd back and forth regular season game that ended like 51-50 it seemed pre-destined that they'd meet in a Super Bowl battle of elite offenses. And it could finally happen in a year where neither offense is even close to elite they are just solid all around teams.
  3. now it's official. no chance of a Lions comeback at this point
  4. honestly think Aaron Glenn's is more -- Lions have put up 28 points despite Goff Goffing. That trick play was terrible but even those don't usually end in picks as WRs would rather take the "sack" or big yard loss than force a throw. meanwhile the Commanders have moved the ball at will on pretty much every possession this game. I get the injuries excuse but it's still not a great look
  5. and immediately Ekeler runs for like 40 years. Yeah this one is over. I actually have had a soft spot for Detroit sports for a while so I feel bad for them, but in some ways I'm not surprised at all by this. Campbell is overhyped and Goff just doesn't cut it for a contending team like them -- hence why the Rams moved on
  6. Dude Dan Campbell is a total clown. That is probably game
  7. That's an inexcusable mistake on Detroit coaching staff. Oof
  8. Agree on Goff but I highly doubt they move on from him. Bet Williams is the odd man out there in a few years, would love to get him
  9. I don't remember Quinn being this aggressive when he was in Atlanta... Maybe he was and I just forgot. But kinda reminds me of Rivera's shift to Riverboat Ron back in 2013.
  10. dude I didn't even realize Ekeler was still in the league let alone on Washington. Dude still has some juice
  11. Idk what the contract statuses are of all their guys but that offense is so stacked and they won't be able to keep them all. Hopefully we can poach a guy or 2 from them
  12. You guys are making my point. Reffing is inconsistent across the board and averages out to roughly even, maybe not in any one game sometimes, but over time and larger sample sizes it does.
  13. The Lions are the NFL sweetheart right now so of course there will be no stories or discussion about the non-facemask facemask call there that handed the Lions 7 points directly!
  14. yeah they obviously weren't going to put Teddy in unless Goff was hurt
  15. My beef isn't really with you then, I will gladly point out all the shitty parts of the NFL -- reffing is inconsistent, they don't let teams play defense and call absurd roughing penalties like the 2 on Mahomes today, etc. My beef is with the extremely popular over the top belief that the league is rigging it for the Chiefs and the refs favor them or are the reason for their success. To quote pulp fiction, that sh*t ain't the truth
  16. Absolutely pathetic mindset, lol. Look in the mirror -- first play of the game your dumbass player takes a dumb penalty then shoves the ST coach, you allow 8 sacks all game and plenty more near sacks, miss a FG, extra point and have a kick blocked, rush going for it on a 4th and 10 with the playclock running down instead of taking the 3 points or at least calling a TO to gather and not force the last second snap for the Chiefs to time their pass rush. Not to mention letting a washed up Kelce get wide open down field and then get like 30yac as he ran through quicksand.
  17. I watch all the games and the stats backup my viewpoint. The Chiefs don't get any more favorable calls than plenty of other teams. They win a ton and people are sick of it so the ones that do favor them are in the spotlight while the ones that favor losing teams nobody ever cares about.
  18. lmao Goff, brutal. put Teddy in in the 2nd half

  20. Daniels is the real fukcing deal. That is a perfect fuging throw that only the top tier elite QBs make. Wow
  21. lol I’m not going to bat for the NFL, just pointing out the realities. Anyone claiming the Chiefs are favored is biased by their disdain for their success. That is the reality
  22. Would be cool if Daniels became the first rookie QB to start a SB
  23. The “best division ever” about to be 0-3 in the playoffs. Lol
  24. I would take it a step further and say that should be true whenever they’re outside the pocket too. But will never happen. Damn Washington!!
  25. Sure they’ve had some games where calls go more in their favor but also plenty of games where calls don’t go in their favor, just like all teams. I think there is a slight bias towards bigger markets (which KC is not) but otherwise it’s just random and refs not being good/consistent in general. Specifically with roughing the passer, it’s just the reality these days that franchise QBs get those calls. The league is so offense/passing dependent these days for betting, fantasy, what your average fan wants, etc. that they are over the top with trying to keep those 1st/2nd tier QBs healthy. But this isn’t all that new at all. Brady, Manning, Big Ben, Brees, Rodgers, etc. have always gotten those calls too. And today it’s true for Lamar, Allen, Burrow, etc. In fact I saw a stat recently that Allen has benefitted more from penalties than Mahomes this year, and yet nobody talks about that — because it’s the Chiefs beating them all the time. I can’t stand the modern NFL dependence on passing and protecting QBs/not letting teams play defense, but it’s the reality and it’s fair across the board. Well unless your QB is a scrub, but then you’re not winning anyways most likely.
