  1. I wouldn’t be surprised no matter how it turns out. I think Bryce is the real deal, but Reich concerns me considerably. If this season is bad then he should be on the hot seat. He wasn’t hired along with his superstar staff and handed a 1st overall QB to take time to rebuild.
  2. Sorry but gonna have to strongly disagree here. We’re coming off a 7 win season not a 2 win season, and our 2 biggest weaknesses we’re coaching and QB both of which we upgraded significantly. In this division I think anything short of a playoff appearance is a disappointment.
  3. I’d stick with starters until we get a scoring drive then pull them
  4. Yeah 100%, after years of trash at QB this is so refreshing
  5. That was great D by Donte bulkshit call nvm thought they were calling PI on him
  6. Forced a couple of third and shorts, need to get the stops though
  7. Wtf nfln not showing it nor is nfl+. fuging retarded
  8. When is Cortbett expected back? Within the first month of the season or will it be longer? How brutal was that to have both our guards go down with serious injuries in meaningless play late last year...
  9. thanks for finding and posting the video. not even that bad, felt like a 50/50 ball. poor decision to throw it there but Chark (not TMJ...) could've done more to either catch it or at least prevent the pick
  10. that's the pick that was referenced earlier in this thread that went off a few hands/TMJ (I think it was him) lost a battle for the ball.
  11. Mahomes has the same creativity and insane awareness but a stronger arm, I would still take him. But yeah whatever people think of Rodgers, I'd argue he's the best QB of his generation over Brady, Manning, Brees and while they're in the same tier it's not particularly close. And I say that as a big fan of Peyton's game (but fug him and the league for 2015). And Rodgers really has not fallen off anywhere near as much as people think, last year was an outlier because of all the poo around him and him losing focus/motivation. I don't think the Jets will win it all this year but I think Rodgers will bounce back in a big way with the change of scenery. So to your point, one of the best QBs of all time is picking apart a team with a new HC, DC and many new players in August -- not really worried about that.
  12. Agreed. Didn't KB go down in 2015 against the Dolphins in joint practices? Wound up potentially being a blessing in disguise to get Cam to spread the ball around but by all accounts he was dominating that camp and was on the verge of a real break out. Tensions run high in these and guys fighting for roster spots can take liberties, I think we had a scrub fringe guy cheapshotting patriots players here in NE last year (not that I have any sympathy for them). I hope we get more coverage from the NY media today, coverage has really been lacking from Panthers media this camp so far. Excited to get a better evaluation of Bryce and our D against another team.
  13. Ehh, many other teams have had much worse kicking situations than us over the years. Bears, Vikings come to mind immediately. Gano was really quite solid for us for a while and our kicking could've been worse since he left. Don't get me wrong I'd love to have a Tucker or Vinatieri, even Butker has been overall very very good for KC. But kicking is far far down the list of our problems in team history.
  14. Well the "at times" was really just 1 season but yeah he was a top 5-10 QB and a huge personality of course he got (and deserved) the attention. Also had the best start to a rookie QB season ever pretty much.
  15. you know I'm still pretty fuging pissed any time that game comes up and same goes for 2003 but that said, it'll make it all the more satisfying when Bryce leads us to the promised land
  16. I'm a little bit torn on this. PJ is a good role player we could still use and in theory he has upside but I highly highly doubt he ever comes close to reaching that upside from what we've seen so far. Some games though he is just so incredibly bad and invisible that makes me think it'll be fine moving on from him. Miles is definitely much better on the court than PJ and has the LaMelo connection so I understand picking him over PJ for those reasons. The off court stuff made it more of a decision but in a league so void of talent, you really do have to take a chance on Miles like we have if that's the position you're in.
  17. lol I'll have to hear that some day, planning to make it to more than a few riot events this year after not going to a panthers game since like 2018, been way too motherfugin long
  18. dude walking onto the field in camp with his GF all cool and nonchalantly, just very Californian vibe in my view, seems like something aaron rodgers would do (also a cali dude). I don't really care at all but Bryce is very much a california guy
  19. A little too California for me… but yeah don’t care if the production is there which based on camp so far it will be
