Chiefs recent drafting has been absurdly good. Last year and this year were arguably rebuilding years for them as they let some key players on both sides of the ball from their first SB team go, but they loaded up with all this incredibly young talent on D. McDuffie, Karlaftis, Rice, Conner, Joshua Williams, Pacheco, Bolton, Gay, Sneed all except McDuffie picked in later rounds since 2020.

Yeah they are so spoiled with their coaching man. Spags is easily one of the best DCs in the league but because he's older and has already failed as a HC, no teams are trying to poach him. So they just get to keep him while he brings them an elite D. And Reid is the best HC in the league and an elite offensive mind so even losing someone like Bieniemy and not having as much talent on O they can not miss much of a beat on offense (yes I know their O was much worse this year but I put that on talent and regular season burnout more than coaching change).

as he should be honestly. dude has either been hurt down the stretch or sucked in the playoffs every year of his career now. there are definitely other factors but this is exactly why when trade discussions were being had I wanted no part of us going after him.

Mahomes' peak has already easily surpassed Brady's. Only thing Brady has is longevity and team statistics (useless in comparing individual players), and those things could absolutely still fall. What a punt and ST play from KC.

dude I don't disagree at all but Mahomes has done more with less last year and this year. Mahomes is in a tier of his own, Lamar is next best QB but still a full tier below Mahomes. Mahomes' career playoff stats in 16.5 games are better than Lamar's best regular season.
