this is just such an incredibly lazy narrative. Brady went to an absolutely stacked TB team and Arians already had a successful HC stint with Arizona despite not having a franchise QB there. Belichick was the only reason the patriots won their first 3 SBs and still a huge reason they won their last 3 (especially the last one where brady had 2 TDs and 3 picks in 3 postseason games). His record without Brady is skewed by most of it being with Cleveland who had tons of issues and at the tail end of his coaching career after the league had evolved and started passing him by. Reid has had a significant hand in making Mahomes the GOAT. He had incredible success too without Mahomes despite not winning it all. Sustained winning seasons and playoff appearances with Alex Smith, Donovan McNabb and even a post-prison Mike Vick. Ridiculous to diminish his accomplishments because he's had a HoF QB on his team. A HoF QB that he developed.

Jim with a legit franchise QB could potentially get past the Chiefs once in the next 5 years. He made 3 straight NFCCGs and a SB with friggin Alex Smith and Colin Krapernick. But yeah really tough road for both Harbugh bros and well any AFC team. Payton/Broncos are absolutely irrelevant in that division though now that Harbaugh went there so that makes me happy.

Jimmy G and Hurts weren't any better QB matchups... You're right NFC is just severely lacking in QB talent. Which makes it hurt even more that we took bryce over Stroud when he could very well be better next year than any NFC QB.

if Lamar doesn't throw that pick you're really confident they get a TD there?
-
In some ways yes but KC defense and Spags' gameplan deserves A TON of credit.
-
So I assume most in here are rooting for Detroit? Some maybe for McCaffrey? I'm all in on the Lions making their first SB. Still love me some CMC but screw the 49ers, will never like that franchise.

I'm about as low on Allen as anyone but he's been legit great in the playoffs. 26 TDs to 6 turnovers, only 1 really bad game (against Cincinnati last year in bad weather). Yeah but Burrow and Allen have definitely outperformed Lamar in the playoffs in their careers so far. I'd love to have Lamar, don't get me wrong. But his playoff/injury history concerns me enough that I don't think I'd make an insane trade for him along with a massive contract. All moot anyways since Ravens were never actually gonna let him go.
