Sam Bradford + picks traded to Philly for Nick Foles
t96 replied to jamos14's topic in Carolina Panthers
It would be a part of a big package and a team that has a lot of holes would probably want to trade back if they got enough in return. A team like the Titans or Jets could probably get 2-3 1sts, a couple 2nds maybe, and Bradford could be thrown in as well. Chip Kelly really wants his guy and will send everything he can to get him. If I'm another team I'd be ecstatic moving down a bit and picking up a half dozen draft picks in the first couple rounds. Bradford's just a low risk high reward addition, and I personally believe he has wayyyy more upside and potential than Foles. -

They're not going to be able to draft Mariota without trading up. He'll be long gone. -

I'm thinking Chip has been talking to some team in the top 6 picks and that they'd rather have Bradford than Foles in a trade letting the Eagles move up to get Mariota. Otherwise I truly don't understand what Chip was thinking on this trade. -

What in the fug is happening? This is some twilight zone poo right here. -
Wait and see my friend. They won't be able to pay Wagner and Russ. They want to win now and will be in hell sooner than later. And we're going to beat them in Seattle this year on the way to getting the #1 seed.

Wow. If that Seattle trade is true I don't really know what I'll think. The Saints don't draft super well so I think I'd be fine with it. Don't care about Seattle getting Graham.

He's had a lot of trouble staying healthy, but he would be an upgrade over Cotch at WR2. Wouldn't hate it but there are others around the same price range that I want more.

I see many #2s or guys who have potential to be #2 who likely wouldn't be out of our range... Crabtree, Nicks, Andre (not really sure what his market will be like maybe he would have to take less to play for us, but I don't think he's completely out of the conversation), Stevie Johnson, Moore, Britt, and Shorts.

I'd rather let Ginn return and have Agholor be our #2 and focus on that only. But I hope we draft Agholor.

2nd highest paid safety, that's big fugin money.

I expect it to be big money. And I expect the Jets to get Revis for an outrageous amount that the Pats just won't be able to come close to.

Chandler's not a tackle, that's done with. Was much better as a guard filling in back in 2013 so I would guess he'll go back to that.

Saints sign Mark Ingram to 4 yr / $ 16 million contract
t96 replied to gettlemanjack's topic in Carolina Panthers
Stupid of them. Way too many holes for a luxery like Ingram, and Robinson probably could've done just as well. -

It's a cut unless they win the Super Bowl.

At least someone liked my first round mock draft pick

Peyton Manning just took $4M paycut this year, reducing his salary to $15M.

We can pencil in about 3 FAs that we've met with we just don't know who because our beat writers are trash.

Remember how that worked out for them when Vince Young said they'd be the dream team? The fella I replied to said they didn't have many holes, except that they do. Sure cap space can help with that I just honestly don't see them being very competitive next year.

They have major holes at safety, guard, WR if Maclin leaves, corner, d-line, QB and now RB as well. It COULD be a good move by them but right now Chip is putting way too much trust in his own system. McCoy carried that offense the past 2 years and now without him I doubt it has much success. McCoy is an ELITE RB and not one that could be replaced by Sproles or by some random rookie next year.
