  1. Not really, Tannehill was extremely underrated on some really bad Dolphins teams before he tore his acl and went to Tennessee. His stats got a bit better on Vrabel's team (largely because of Henry opening up the offense I'd argue) but he was always very solid before that. 4 straight, the first 2 barely above .500. Then 11 and 12 win seasons where they faceplanted in the playoffs each year followed by 2 pretty terrible losing seasons. I disagree he's a smart in game coach, yes they have been tough and he's a good motivator but that only gets you so far. His schemes and strategy just won't cut it in today's NFL, his teams were never viewed as a legitimate threat to win it all any year. Would I take what they had over what we've had the last several years, yeah absolutely, but I think we should strive for better than that and a HC who can actually lead us to sustained success and a SB win (or multiple). I don't ever see Vrabel doing that and his message and leadership eventually wears thin.
  2. Vrabel is very overrated. They had 1 nice cinderella run his 2nd year there riding the high of the energy he brought to the team but he's just not a great coach and he's too old school especially on offense. The Titans had a great roster with a legit 2nd tier franchise QB for a few years and top 3 RB in the game and yet they came up short every year except that 1 mentioned above. I just don't see how he makes any sense for this team right now.
  3. He’ll have the Chargers contending with the best QB he’s ever had in the NFL by far but the Chiefs are a serious roadblock for him. Maybe he catches them in an off year in the next few years and can win 1 SB there but I’m not convinced. Either way he was clearly the best HC on the market in a long time and it’s embarrassing that we didn’t even talk to him.
  4. The league has passed him by but I'm fairly confident Bryce Young under Belichick in the 2000s would've won a few SBs. Brady played such a small role in Belichick's early success. That evolved over the course of Brady's career but those first 6 years and 3 SBs were all Belichick (and his cheating of course).
  5. Terry really hasn't been a good fit here with the current group of players, as good of a player as he is (and he is very good) I honestly think this is addition by subtraction. He'll fit in much better with the Heat. I'd have liked to have gotten a better pick but who knows maybe we'll be getting a high lottery pick in '28 out of it... And don't get me wrong I love me some scary terry at times, he had some incredible games and moments here. But it made sense for everyone to move on
  6. Canales is an incredibly uninspiring candidate, especially considering the other options available. If it wasn't Tepper making the decision I may have more of an open mind but if we hire him it'll just reinforce my lesser opinion of him. As always I'll watch the team and be hopeful come week 1 but it won't last long if we can't start winning.
  7. You mean not all successful businessmen who just bought a business in a new industry bring in their “trophy” wives to make key business decisions????
  8. Maybe Morgan really was the constant dissenter and now he’s clearing out the trash… Probably just hopium
  9. No but we do know he’s been assistant GM for a team with the worst results in the league
  10. Chiefs outclassed them for sure, as expected. Had a couple dropped picks too. And if Reid would friggin give Pacheco the ball in that 4th quarter it’s even more of a blowout
  11. Allen is one of the luckiest QBs I’ve ever seen. Such a chump
  12. What an atrocious fuging call and stupid rule. fug this dumbass league
  13. LOL NICE COACHING MCD YOU DUMBASS HAHAHAHAHAHA
  14. He’ll probably give them the ball 3 times. Huge choker
  15. Baltimore D would absolutely fuging destroy Allen lol
  16. I like McD and Beane but the players on this team are a bunch of whiny bitch losers and I hope they never sniff a SB. Very unlikeable
  17. What an absolute fuging moron. That play would be enough for me as a Packers fan to fuging hate Love forever. First thing they fuging teach you in pop Warner is not throw across your body down field like that. Even Mahomes and Rodgers would never attempt that type of throw with the crazy things they do. fug the 49ers so hard let’s go Lions knock those fugs out.
  18. Andrews will help yeah but I think it’s just obvious Texans are a tier below. Chiefs/Bills are not and I view the winner of that game as the favorite to make the SB, even if they’re playing on the road in Baltimore next week.
  19. Yes, the team has just been so fuging bad that everyone remotely involved in football ops needs to be gone. Complete overhaul. Including getting Tepper uninvolved. But if Morgan winds up as GM, dumbass Tepper may be even more involved… we’re in for a rough ride and as embarrassingly bad as this year was I don’t think we’ve hit rock bottom yet unfortunately
  20. I’m not talking about random people on the net. Falcons beat (who are very much reputable) have been on top of their interest in Harbaugh and Belichick for a while now. And both those interviews wound up happening. Not that our beat reporters have any worth and maybe we’re just that tight lipped but there being no hint whatsoever of any interest in those 2 guys makes it more likely than not that we’re just not considering them. Sure we could hear in an hour that we spoke to Harbaugh this morning. But that’s a much longer shot than if there was some reported interest in him before now.
  21. kind of. you won't hear anything officially but Falcons fans had a pretty good idea from loose reports of "interest" that they'd interview both Belichick and Harbaugh and now they have announced those happened. Not hearing anything doesn't necessarily mean anything especially as it seems we are being extremely tight lipped (likely at the behest of the consulting firm), but if we were interested we could've heard of it by now.
  22. We didn’t. Don’t let the Eagles being trash fool you. Baker is mediocre and always will be.
  23. Everyone gave all the credit for Tampa's recent success to Brady which was frankly always completely ridiculous. They had a stacked D, OL and great receiving group when they added him. He joined an absolutely stacked roster and Arians was honestly a great HC (albeit with a short shelf life in each stop). Enough of those pieces are still there that they are winning a playoff game with baker fuging mayfield and Bowles as HC.
