If Cam, Romo or Peyton threw that game ending INT....
t96 replied to GoobyPls's topic in Carolina Panthers
But realize something about Cam, Romo and Peyon. None of their 3 teams would call that pass play. If they called a pass play it's be some kind of play action or fade to KB, Olsen, Dez, Julius Thomas or Demaryious. The Seahawks don't have any really good redzone targets. I question why they didn't try a fade to the 6'5 Matthews, he was catching everything and winning on jump balls easily. And it's the Super Bowl so they need to change up their play calls. Butler picked it because he had seen it on film so much. If they run it so much that some scrub sees it on film and capitalizes then why not design a different/new play for that situation? Hawks handed them the game on that one play, and Wilson, Carroll and Bevell are all to blame. -

Yeah it's absurd how all he gets is love. Really doesn't make much sense. -
4 Things Greg Hardy Must Do to Remain a Panther
t96 replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
The defense was trash against Seattle because we couldn't get pressure on Wilson and our rookies made rookie mistakes. With Hardy we have a very solid chance of winning that game. My point is, we may be a good enough defense without Hardy but Hardy is that extra elite piece that takes us over the edge. With him we could be the ones hoisting the Lombardi right now. I know what you're sources have said to you because you've been saying it over and over again here, but I don't believe those sources. The only 3 people who's opinions matter are Gettleman, Rivera and JR. And I'm fairly certain you haven't talked to them and even if you did they wouldn't actually reveal anything. Rivera clearly wants him back and I'm sure Gettleman would if he could get his talent for like $5M or less. I can't see JR overriding Gettleman on that if Hardy is found innocent. IMO it's all up to how much Hardy would take to play here and him getting found innocent. -

That you and Voth get some weird sexual thrill when telling people about how Greg Hardy won't be a Panther next year? -

He wouldn't need to give back money AND play for the min. That would be ridiculous. Playing for the min next year or even just a few million would almost ensure he's back here, assuming of course that he's found innocent. -
It was on the half yard line. The 1st down play was on the 3 and marshawn ran and was down half a yard short of the end zone. But I was wrong not 1st down, 2nd down.
-
Maybe I'm wrong. Someone else said 3 so I don't know. I thought it was right on the 1. He caught it at the 3 and then got up and ran but I don't know where they marked it.

Edelman didn't get a catch on Sherman all game....
-
I don't know about the 3 but if we were in that exact position on the 1, 1st down with time running exactly the same we would've scored and won that game. I guarantee it. Shula's retarded but he would not be throwing the ball there, and Cam or Stew or Tolbert or whoever would've gotten in. Passing the ball isn't what was stupid it was him being in shotgun so the Pats knew that they weren't going to run it. Play action would've been a good call but they should've just gone with Lynch through the middle. Holy fuging sh*t.

The one play they take Chancellor off of Gronk he scores a TD. Lol way to go Quinn. I'm glad this retard will be the Falcons HC.
-
We already know you're retarded, we don't need you giving us more evidence.

This game sucks.

If Greg is truly guilty then it would apply. But that's yet to be determined. It's absolutely a possibility that he did nothing wrong at all. Greg did a lot of good things off the field that the media didn't give any attention to at all.
-
Not really. Greg's done a lot of charitable work. He was on here promoting one of them a while ago I think. The DV thing is completely unrelated and there's a very high chance he'll be found innocent.
-
Remember everyone freaking out when he got hurt against Arizona and was Questionable for Seattle..... Yeah he's very important to our offense currently and is definitely a keeper.
-
I'm ecstatic that we have him but he's not there yet. I do think he's our 2nd best WR though. Whether he gets to the point where he is a legitimate WR2 or even great slot guy is yet to be determined. We still need weapons.

Marshawn Lynch is a racist! He called himself Donkey Kong!

Pro Football Spot breaks down the state of Panthers' Big Uglies
t96 replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Agreed, and not just continuity and chemistry on the o-line but the entire offensive unit as a whole. Only guys here from last year were Bell, Cam, Olsen and Kalil. Once Cam gets a full offseason with KB, Philly, Dickson, Cotch, etc. we'll be more successful. I can't tell you how many times my heart sank when Cam and KB couldn't connect deep because of a miscommunication, bad throw, drop, bad route, etc. -

True, all I'm saying is that other offenses succeeded with similarly poor lines so I don't buy that excuse for why our offense is so bad. WRs have more to do with it than people think, and honestly in my opinion may be our biggest offensive need still. Probably LT, but I wouldn't shoot down someone arguing WR. Well, frankly, me looking at any of it won't help. I'm just interested in it. Not just how it relates to the Panthers but football in general. -

Decent breakdown. I've been running through film the past couple weeks of all the teams in the league at many different position and plan to post some of what I've seen. Just got to say, not many o-lines in this league are that much better than ours was. Another thing I've noticed so far... Our WRs are the absolute worst at getting separation... Haven't looked at teams like the Browns or Jags yet so that could change...
