The issue is, McNabb was a much better prospect (more of a sure thing, and pro ready) coming out than Mariota. I don't see Mariota being a franchise QB, to be honest. So I would've taken the picks and players. But if they really feel confident that he'll be their guy for the next decade then yes they made the right decision. I was hoping to see Philly trade all that crap for Mariota only for him to bust and Kelly to have run the Eagles into the ground for the next decade. Oh well.

I didn't really expect it but it makes sense. He's a mauler of a run blocker and they're clearly changing the focus on offense to the run game based on their offseason moves.

Perriman has the natural ability to be an elite route runner. He's very raw and needs a lot of coaching in that aspect but he has a higher ceiling running routes than Strong. Strong's more ready right now, but frankly, I don't want either until 57 or later.

Improving route running isn't always teachable. Strong doesn't have fluid hips and that ain't changing. He will never be an elite route runner, probably never better than average.

He's not faster on the field in pads.

I was going to go to the fight but some sh*t came up and I can't make it out there so I'll be watching it at home or a friends house. Probably be a dozen or two people there so I'll only be paying like $5. Pulling for Pac, can't stand Mayweather or his fans. Probably gonna be Mayweather since he can dominate the scorecards but I feel Manny has a legitimate chance at KO'ing him. Gonna be a closer fight than people think.

I guess we're talking about two different things then, because I'm just talking about DV in general, not specifically in regards to DGB. As I've stated many many times (and your eyes seem to pass right over), I don't want us to draft DGB. He's going to go in the first 2-3 rounds and I would never think to invest that much in him. But it would be foolish to completely rule out having a player like him on your team at all just because of one DV incident and some pot, if you've checked him out extensively and feel he can change and contribute to a positive atmosphere.
