Why is that a "big if?" Nothing really indicates he was involved. The police are questioning him but have said he's not a suspect so until they say otherwise I wouldn't think that he was involved. Seems like that was his kid and they want to determine that.

He can't just "get signed" he has to agree to it. He's not signing anywhere until this issue is cleared up completely.

Could compete for a roster spot as a backup corner and ST player, or even to be stashed on the PS. Hope we can get him. Antwan Goodley, WR, Baylor Fast, deep threat who could come in and compete for that slot position or 4th/5th wideout. Plays big as well with great YAC and fight in him to get every extra yard. Justin Coleman, CB, Tennessee Could also come in and compete for nickel corner backup and ST. Could potentially be a longterm nickel for us if Bene moves outside again after Tillman hangs up the cleats or goes to another team. La'el Collins, OT, LSU If this kid is 100% innocent come Monday he will by far be the biggest priority UDFA in the history of the league. Would be an insanely amazing addition as a UDFA as he was a sure top-15 pick before the police investigation. Happens to be our biggest need as well, and would give us the best depth we've had at OT in years. Him wanting to get into the 2016 draft complicates things and he may put up a fight as there's conflicting reports about whether he can enter it or not. If we land him, I'm going to Vegas and putting down $1000 on us to win the Super Bowl.

He's never played guard, he was purely an OT at Oklahoma. Some have projected his skill set would fit guard better but that's just media speculation. He'll be an OT for us.

Man I can't tell you how pissed I'd be if another team gets Collins in the late rounds and he turns out to be innocent and actually does sign.

The presser didn't really do much for me but I went back and watched some Michigan games after we picked him and I liked what I saw a bit more than before. I really hope he can be a long term WR2 for us. Not super confident, but I trust Gettleman so I'm remaining optimistic.

I may be being a little hard on him since I was strongly against taking him at 57 before the draft so you can understand how I feel trading our 3rd for him, but I'm optimistic. If he can put that up I'd be ecstatic. May be a little unreasonable for a 2nd round rookie WR (last year's insanely good WR class has expectations for rookie wideouts higher) but if he goes under 600ish and 5 TDs, I'd be extremely disappointed.

Well considering we were high enough on him to trade up using our 3rd rounder I think the expectations should be raised a bit. As our #2 I expect him to put up 750+ yards and 6-8+ TDs.

I haven't really gotten mad at our two picks and the trade yet since I'm willing to trust DG, but if we don't take Hardy at our 4th if he's there I will probably break my tv.
