  1. Really nice play by Allen there. Came damn close to getting lit up from behind but a damn nice job staying in it and hitting the receiver.
  2. If Mahomes stays healthy and Reid and company can continue to build a solid team around him, he will go down as the GOAT no discussion. Definitely big ifs, especially as Mahomes has already dealt with several smaller injuries the past few years, but I've never seen any player on this guy's level. Not even Rodgers at his absolute best.
  3. If Chinn can keep developing I think he could be a potential option to matchup with Kelce. No clue what the fug to do about Hill and we'd need this DL to get to an elite level to pressure Mahomes. But I agree, the Chiefs are the team that every other team in the league has to go through if they want to win the SB any time soon. Until proven otherwise anyways...
  4. It's actually pretty fuging loud in KC considering how few fans they have relative to max capacity. I'd say it gives them a bit of a home-field advantage that most other playoff teams didn't have this year.
  5. I'd definitely be in on Rodgers. Obviously he's even shorter term than Stafford and ideally you get a young franchise guy either in the draft or Watson, but damn if Rodgers wouldn't make us an immediate contender.
  6. Maybe but Reid does have a bit of a recent track record of going to prevent D too early and letting teams get closer to being back in the game. Hasn't seemed to bitten him in the ass enough for them to lose those games but seems like a lot have been much closer than they should've been because of it. After years of Rivera doing it, it's one the things in sports that I detest the most when I see teams doing it.
  7. Yep. He was only 120 yards behind Diggs for leading the league in receiving yards this year, and that's with him resting in week 17... As a fuging TE. That's unheard of. Combined with the TDs and blocking, he's easily up there as a top 5 offensive weapon in the league if you ask me.
  8. Allen has thrown 2 balls now that were easy picks dropped. Lucked out there. Along with the 2 bad long sack/grounding. I still think he'll settle in in this game and make things interesting but rough start for him so far.
  9. Tyrann Mathieu has quietly (?) been the Chiefs 2nd most important player these past 2 years. The guy is flat out dominating and setting the tone all fuging day. Still wish we went after him when the Cardinals moved on from him.
  10. Totally agree. Mike Pettine leaves a lot to be desired with that defense. They have a ton of talent, and while they've been much better with him than Capers I still don't think he's a good coach at all. That play should seal his fate.
  11. Yep. Came back from down at least 10 in all 3 playoff games last year... Still a terrible terrible play for them and gives the Bills a much better chance but game has barely started.
  12. Do you remember the Chiefs' playoff wins last year?
  13. Your point? All those teams have been in the playoffs and had winning seasons consistently in addition to the title(s).
  14. LOL Allen that is not a playoff decision there. Anyone who would bet on Allen and McDermott against Mahomes and Reid is a fool. They can certainly win but not with plays like that.
  15. If we could get Sewell and trade for Stafford without having to give up too much we could be a locked in playoff team next year.
  16. Highly doubt it, he's already said he's playing next year I think and why would he retire at this point? Plus they won't win, AFC teams and coaches left are way better than Arians and the Bucs.
  17. Yeah pretty hilarious. Our 2015 was definitely the best individual season among NFCS teams in that timespan, but the Aints have had 4 straight seasons where they were among the top 2 favored NFC teams to make the SB and came up short every time haha.
  18. I wouldn't. I'd much rather try to build something like the Steelers, Pats, Chiefs now, Seahawks, Packers, etc. Consistent, sustained success with championship(s) mixed in too. Bucs have no shot at that, they might win 1 but then it's back to the dumpster for another decade. They have no direction at all once Brady and their key free agents are gone in the next year or two. And if they don't win this year or next that's even worse.
  19. And if they wind up losing and sucking for the next decade when Brady retires? fug that I'd much rather build a team that can have sustained success than just go all in and hope it works out for a season or two. Even if they do win this year, once Brady's gone that team is gonna go right back to being completely miserable. I'd much rather be a Panthers fan going forward than a Bucs fan, despite their success this season.
  20. AFC all fuging day. Prefer Chiefs but really don't care as long as the winner of this game beats the Bucs
