  1. Draft board doesn’t exist, but first impressions certainly do and Rhule I’m sure already has an impression of Jones. I highly doubt we’ll be high on him but yeah it’s just Person speculating.
  2. Frustrating one last night but the Spurs are a great team and we were just too short handed without Hayward, PJ and Devonte. At least we put up a good fight. Very encouraged by this team and still think there’s a decent chance we can get the 5 or 6 seed in the east with a winning record and avoid the play in round.
  3. Dzingel just didn’t fit in well here at all. We’d have been no worse off if he were a healthy scratch every night (and he was a fair amount last year). We don’t save much salary but I’m sure that was a part of it. Paquette was a great 4th line C for Tampa for years but has been terrible this year - whether that’s just Ottawa or him declining, I don’t know. But he really doesn’t have any potential. His “potential” is just a 4th line C upgrade who can bring a bit more toughness to the lineup (which I think is the main reason for the move). Paquette definitely should not be in the top 9 at any point, but I do like him as depth more than Dzingel. Galchenyuk is pretty worthless and I doubt he plays much if at all here. He has theoretical upside as a skill player, but he’s been even worse than Dzingel the last couple years and doesn’t offer anything else except a bit of skill — in a Rod Brind’Amour team, that is a recipe for disaster (see Dzingel). Decent move but unlikely to really have much of an impact at all. Certainly doesn’t hurt us. We didn’t give up anything of real value and saved a bit of money, so if that’s all it was too then so be it.
  4. Pittsburgh. Watt bro’s will dominate there
  5. Agreed. And it’s such a small sample size that it really doesn’t say much at all about what could happen if we do trade up to get a QB this year. If the staff and FO is completely convinced that one of these QBs is our guy and he won’t make it to 8 then by all means, trade up. But don’t trade up out of desperation just to get any QB high this year, I think that is where we could make a huge mistake...
  6. Fields is a really good and rare prospect. If he doesn’t go 2nd overall there will be teams kicking themselves for passing him up or not trading up for him. I don’t want to give up a ton either and prefer we try to get Lance at 8, but would not be upset with giving up future draft capital to get Fields. Trading up for Wilson, on the other hand, would be disappointing (though I’ll ultimately be happy with any promising QB we may acquire this offseason).
  7. Any team with a legit center will give us troubles, no matter how bad the rest of the roster is. It’s unbelievable how pitiful this team is on the boards, and frankly every single team will look good from 3 against us with how bad this defensive system has been.
  8. Peterson is one of my favorite players. If the money is right I’d love the move but I don’t think we’ll be able to realistically afford him.
  9. Wood, Wall and Gordon are all out... We should win this game relatively easily...
  10. Ehhhh, it's really hard to blame Goodell. He is just doing exactly what all these owners want and being the "bad guy" so that fans and the general public blames him for stuff like this rather than the owners. It's the owners who have let the league deteriorate over the last few decades who are to blame, not Goodell. If it wasn't Goodell as commissioner, it'd just be someone else having the exact same effect.
  11. Or if they believe he sucks (he does) and want to sabotage a division rival...
  12. I do not want to trade up to 3 for Wilson or Lance. Fields, absolutely, if he's there. Wilson/Lance I'd go to 5 or 6 but not 3.
  13. maybe Reid's kid nearly killing a kid a few days before did have an impact on his mind for this game... The lack of adjustments from him was uncharacteristic.
  14. I'll take the W. Another ugly one but 2 points is 2 points. Still have no idea what the league/refs were thinking on wiping out 40 seconds of our PP. They got the call wrong initially, that sucked for the BJs but league needed to just live with their mistake, not make it worse and compound it by making some random call to wipe out a PP which can't be written into the rules as something that's allowed. I don't even care about the 40 seconds of PP time, more just flabbergasted by that decision. Hope for a better game from the boys tonight.
  15. Not at all, it’s the inconsistency and favoritism from the league that pisses me off. No reason that Hardy shouldn’t be in the league if Brown is. Hardy just didn’t have a darling like Brady on his knees begging for him to be allowed back.
  16. Fix is in. Turning this poo off. Have fun boys, going out to snowblow.
  17. Yeah but Reid and company won’t just rollover like Ron did. He’s gonna adjust and the refs won’t even matter.
  18. LOL handing the fuging game to the Bucs. That is the biggest bullshit I’ve ever seen.
  19. I would love nothing more than for that douchebag Antonio Brown to have a game losing fumble or drop that is intercepted, etc. It’s trash that he’s even playing in the league anymore.
  20. Chiefs can put up huge points in bundles, but yeah not looking like they’ll put up 38 tonight
  21. Jesus Christ this punter is absolute trash. Wow.
  22. Some absolutely brutal drops too. Kelce drops a 1st down there. Hill dropped a TD earlier.
  23. Chiefs playcalling has been terrible so far. OL is tough but still. Mahomes hasn’t looked bad he just hasn’t had anything on most of these plays...
