YEAH BABY!!!! Marshall is such a stud!

Great play by Chandler (who?).
-
Yeah I think so.
-
Nice pressure, was that YGM? Edit: Nope it was Haynes. Nice play from him.

When is kickoff? All I have here in Boston on NFLN is a bunch of morons talking...
-
Didn't KB tear his ACL in those joint practices? That training camp seemed like such a disaster. Very good reason to not read much into training camp/preseason.

I still can't believe that the league made us open the season on the road against the defending champs, and they didn't make Atlanta play at New England to open the season in the very next year. Complete nonsense.

Been in this boat for over a decade now. It sucks but I just go to bars every week unless we're on tv locally here in Boston (got both Bucs games cuz of Brady last year...). I don't like streaming and certainly don't like messing around with sh*tty illegal streams. Thought about looking into a VPN or location changing thing to get a legit stream that is reliable and works but just haven't put the effort into that. Hopefully next year DirecTV loses their monopoly on non-local NFL games and I can get all the Panthers games on Comcast, like I get the Canes and Hornets games. But for now still just stuck going to bars, the unfortunate reality.

Very sad, RIP. Never knew her personally but she was one of the good posters here for sure. Condolences to her family and those here that knew her well.

Gross has been eligible for several years now

People are stupid and often spend more than they can afford. What @LinvilleGorge was getting at is that the idiots paying for something like that are the ones who need to finance their mods and wouldn't be able to afford adding a lift/wheels to a stock truck without the financing through the dealer.

I've thought about that too as the new Vette is easily the best bang for your buck "supercar" out there, but not quite ready to seriously consider a fun car like that so didn't look too closely into it and figured this market would suck for those too, so that's not surprising... Could you put an order in for a '22 and get sticker price?
-
They had him under team control for 2 more years. Make him prove himself again this year, the price wasn’t going to go up much if at all... I’d agree if he was a pending FA or had 1 year left and was forcing a contract but that wasn’t the case. This could easily turn into a massive disaster if we find out that last year was an outlier, which is entirely possible.
-
Horrible horrible contract. How do you give him that based off of 1 season...?
-
TC has started I thought that was when it became Panthers only here.

This very clearly is not a football thread and belongs in the Tinderbox.

That is one of the most embarrassing things I've ever read.

I really don't care what goes on in players' personal lives if they aren't being convicted of crimes, frankly. None of our business and we'll never know the actual facts of any of the situations. That being said, in this league PR is a factor and so is NFL discipline. I don't really want him at this point because you can't have a franchise QB with a tarnished image like that or who is at risk of being suspended or put on the exempt list at any time. And whether he's innocent or guilty he's definitely shown poor judgement and that could easily harm the team in the future. So I'd say no, unless the cost of acquisition was too good to pass up to make it work the risks (which it won't be).

Brady gets hurt we're the favorite easily.

That's not Darnold...

You're damn right SCP.

Carolina Panthers are STILL interested in Deshaun Watson

This has nothing to do with my post. -

In the context of NFL discipline, Kraft and the players should be treated exactly the same. If Kraft hit his wife and wasn't in prison and allowed to keep his team with no punishment then if a player hit his wife and wasn't in prison he should be allowed to play with no punishment. It's pretty simple actually. -
May be wrong but pretty sure Smitty was already an established superstar by the time he had any issues at all. Like it or not superstars will get treated differently than fringe guys. As someone else mentioned if this was Chinn instead of Ibe with the same exact play he'd obviously still be here.
-
It looks pretty tame but at the end of the day a fringe practice squad player can't be sending teammates to the hospital on the first day of padded practice... Fluke or not. And I say that as someone who is very old school when it comes to physicality in sports and not happy about modern rules penalizing certain hits, etc.
