I really liked Armah but FB is sadly just a dying position, and clearly Brady doesn't put any value in it. Armah didn't do nearly enough as a receiver or a rusher to be worthy of a roster spot. Good blocker, tough player, but just doesn't fit here.

Yeah but Bill also just does weird things often. Cam was on a cheap deal even for a backup. And he's still good enough to be one of the better backups in the league.

Probably not but never say never. He's not a starter any more and his shoulder can't hold up over the course of a season but he's a much better backup than PJ... Him not being vaccinated does make things complicated for any team looking at him however.

I barely ever heard Bayless' name in camp this year after he flashed last year... Did he take a step back or what? I'm guessing we'll try to put him on the PS too.

I hope Saunders makes the PS, he flashed enough that I think he could contribute in a 4/5 spot in a couple years as we continue to develop him. Having cheap depth like that is important.

Sitting out a year is what sealed his fate here I think.

Yeah he's a good punter and he's been good for the Cardinals since we cut him. But giving up a 4th for a punter who was already one of the highest paid was just a poor decision. We even had Palardy on the roster that offseason before trading for Lee I believe. Palardy and Charlton have shown that you can get punters for dirt cheap undrafted and have them still turn out to be very good, should've just gone that route from the start once Nortman left. Yeah but since then, not so much... And even he came up short in the biggest game we asked him to play. Still convinced we win that SB in OT if not for the out of bounds KO.

Remember how worried we were about punter after Brad Nortman left? Nippleshorts panic traded for Andy Lee and then he got hurt anyways and didn't even play a full season. Palardy took over and showed he was clearly the real deal and held it down as a well above average punter for several years. Then tore his ACL and lost his job to Charlton who is a total boss. Why can't we have the same good fortunes at kicker as we've had at punter?

I won't buy a Sam jersey until it's clear that: 1. He can ball 2. He'll be here longer than his current deal (i.e. multi year extension with quite a bit of guaranteed money) To point #1, I don't know how long it'll take for me to determine this, probably close to a full season if not longer.
