Huge play by Shaq! Where the hell did this guy come from?
-
Most blatant hold I've ever seen, not called. What a joke. And why does our "elite" punter from last year now suck?
-
On paper he may not be wrong. But that 2015 had a ton of special things about it that's yet to be seen this year. Of course an MVP caliber QB is the most glaring...
-
Not sure, I'm out of state and have never tried it. That's such bullshit that you can't get a local game on TV.
-
This only works if you're in the CLT market right? I think OP is out of state.

I think this is pretty fair when comparing these two seasons. We went to the SB on Cam and the offense's shoulders along with a lot of very timely takeaways. The D was solid but was not the strength of that team, it gets overrated because of the SB appearance. 2013 really is the bar on D. That D waltzed their way to 12 wins despite an extremely underwhelming offense both in passing and rushing. It was frankly an all time great D that is overshadowed by the Seahawks also having an incredible D that year and by our 1 and done playoff appearance. When comparing this year so far to 2013, I'd say something like this, with plenty of time/room for 2021 to prove itself further: 2013 DL: A+ 2021 DL: A 2013 LB: A+ 2021 LB: B 2013 Secondary: B- 2021 Secondary: B+ 2013 D Coaching: A+ 2021 D Coaching: A-

It was solid but nowhere near one of our best years on D. Points scored that year league-wide were unusually high, and we allowed almost 20 points per game. Compared to 2013 when we allowed ~14 points per game. That is a significant difference. We won most of our games in 2015 on the strength of the offense and frankly Cam's heroics. Think how many shootouts we got into (Giants collapse and Cam saving our asses, Luke fuging McCown pretending he's Drew Brees in his prime and putting up 30+ points, etc.).
-
Completely absurd to have 2015 over 2013 here. 2013 is our highest ranked defense of any season in both yards and points against.

We're gonna get the Rhule/Temple discount with him, I can just tell. Such a stud

We're kicking Murphy's Law's ass tonight. None of this pansy ass daisy-picking small dick loser attitude here. fug the Texans and Murphy's Law, I'm upping my prediction to 41-3.
-
27-3. Another somewhat underwhelming overall offensive effort against an underrated Texans D but still a thoroughly convincing win and the D continues to show they are the best in the fuging league and it's not close. Sam plays well but still more of the same with red zone, 2nd half being slow, etc.

gotta get a nap in before the game boss
-
Is he, really? He almost certainly will be (it's hard to be that bad) but not so far.

I'm not subscribed so can't confirm/compare, but aren't these individual grades all relatively low? Aren't the best players in the 80s/90s? If it is like I suspect, further proof that PFF is full of poo a fair amount of the time.

We'll see, there are still plenty of teams ahead of us in most of them that have no business being ahead of us. It took a long ass time for us to get the respect we deserved in 2015. In fact, many still had the Seahawks and Cardinals beating us in the playoffs even after we dominated our way to 15-1.
-
Pretty sure the Aints regular starting center McCoy calls the protection audibles and line shifts, not sure whose responsibility it was with him out but I'm guessing it was on the backup C and not the QB...
-
We just had a dominant showing against the Aints and we're still like 14 at the highest on most of the power rankings out there. The media doesn't give a crap about us until we essentially force them to. And that can only happen once we start ragging on contender and big name teams, like we did in 2015. If we smash the Texans and then the Cowgirls I can see the media starting to take us seriously, but not just the Texans.
-
Most RBs also need to get in a rhythm to get going, can't really do that with the workload available behind McCaffrey....

fuging Teddy Shitwater threw away that Chinn TD game

Go ahead, admit it. Huddle confessionals.

Looks can be deceiving, over time the injuries will pile up at a higher rate than in the past. That's the reality. It's better than a complete dogshit grass field that isn't maintained well (see Redskins with RGIII). But when maintained well like BofA always has been, grass is just significantly better. Just Tepper being a greedy asshole with his stupid fuging soccer team. -
I think that's what it is, but they didn't make that clear and it's still not the best analogy. That's focused solely on the Aints rather than anything we did. We're just really fuging good, no Trojan Horse tricks from us. Either way, the content of the article was great, fun to watch some of those plays again and get a better look at what was going on with a few viewings.

Nothing I said before this season has been proved wrong, in fact I'm not really surprised by anything we've seen so far. That being said, I'll eat some more crow on Phil Snow (I already kind of did last year). When we hired him I thought it was going to be a disaster and another situation like with Ron where we'd be stuck with a mediocre/bad coordinator for years and years. But he was rock solid without a ton of talent last year and this year he's taken it a step further with more talent. Phenomenal choice of DC based on the results so far. I mean, everybody had us projected as a bottom 3 D last year, I thought we'd be worst in the entire league and it wouldn't be close. Yet we wound up being average. And sitting #1 in the league after 2 weeks this year. Man, what a friggin turn around from how bleak things looked on that side of the ball after the 2019 season which was a disaster.
