Gettleman drafted McCaffrey though
-
He was a really solid long term Panther who was always a team-first guy. Sad to see him go but this is absolutely for the best. He never quite lived up to our expectations (which may have been unreasonable considering how spoiled we had been at LBer before him), but he was ultimately one of Gettleman's few good draft picks and did contribute to our last 2 playoff runs.

I don't think this says anything about Bryce. I think it was already obvious we're going into next year with Bryce as starter, but if he doesn't silence all questions this year I think the plans at QB may shift, especially if we have a high pick in 2026. I suppose I still wouldn't rule out Cam Ward this draft but that seems highly highly unlikely. Dalton is a solid backup at that price whether it's Bryce or someone else in the room with him. Honestly, not even a terrible bridge starter either if Bryce sucks next year and we move on but don't want to throw a rookie QB in '26 to the wolves.

what do people think of walterfootball?

Hakeem Nicks and Greg Jennings all over again
-
I think it's pretty damn obvious that our main focus this offseason needs to be improving the pass rush. Brown back healthy will help but we still have absolutely nothing at edge rusher. Eagles just dominated a super bowl entirely because of an elite 4 man pass rush. Yeah we could use receivers, another corner, whatever but all of that should be secondary to pass rush. I don't follow college much until looking at prospects closer to draft season -- who are some guys we could target in the first few rounds?

the game is already over but my lord that was an atrocious call. refs have been significantly in the eagles' favor this game
-
that's probably game. turning it off like millions of others
-
Chiefs lack of discipline is losing them this game
-
Wrong again, pal. Your comments on this topic show you know nothing about it. It's all the force on the players in the middle's joints, backs, necks, etc. Personally I don't care about the injury aspect of it, it's a physical sport, modern day gladiators and all. It's an incredibly boring play and even if it was us running it successfully all the time I'd want it banned. But when the only way the D could stop it is banned because of injury reasons then you gotta also ban it on offense. Just a stupid stupid play with the rules as they currently stand.
-
Because one pass was a little low? lol
-
Seriously, Kelce is a massive liability for the Chiefs' offense. Let Noah Gray have his snaps and they'd be better off
-
not really, plenty of teams aren't stupid enough to continually put their players at risk. Sirianni is a massive douche and doesn't care, honestly bet the play contributed to Kelce retiring earlier than he could've.
-
The massive gap between Hurts and Mahomes could wind up being the difference this game.
-
The Chiefs have nothing at all to do with the tush push discussion
-
there's those refs for ya
-
WRONG. Offense is allowed to push their teammates' backs, D is not allowed to do that
-
yeah I don't hate the Eagles for it they'd be stupid not to. but hate that the league still allows it. either ban it or let the defense do the same thing
-
tush push needs to be banned this offseason. stupidest fuging play in all of pro sports
-
LMAO that's a significantly worse call than the one on the Chiefs earlier. But no one will care or ever mention it again
-
nah that ratings boost has completely worn off and is irrelevant
-
Kelce should retire, dude is totally washed
-
Dude that first Chiefs play from scrimmage was fuging beautiful. God I wish we fired Rivera to hire Reid back in the day
-
by the rules it's a penalty, but pretty soft
-
this scoreboard is incredibly stupid lol who the fug made that decision
